Professional cleaners don't use one product.

You can't find cleaners in Ireland and Canada have the same exact cleaning products.

You won't need a certain cleaning product, (Oxi Clean, Mr. Clean, w/e ) just..

glass cleaners for glass, and carpet cleaners for carpets, etc. ( You don't use carpet cleaners for the sink, now do you? )

Or if you vacuum, you aren't going to vacuum counters, will you? No, you'll use a certain brand of whatever to clean a specific item, that's why brands differ..

Just watched video about cleaning toilets. I don't see how using disposable toilet brushes nor tossing a real toilet brush every 6 months is "green"??? Why not just clean and disinfect your toilet brush ever so often?? I try to use re-usable supplies as often as possible because I don't like to be wasteful.

@MsFruitbasket I do the same as you, soak it in bleach every now and again. However, when you have hard water, it can take on an ugly orange hue that really grosses you (or guests) out. Also, it can start to smell even if you clean with bleach. I probably toss mine every year or so. They are so cheap anyway.

I clean professionally and I can't help bu t wonder if she switched gloves from cleaning the toliet to making the bed...

Also, I clean at a hospital and the boss man is very strict about dust. They made us watch a 20 minute video on dust and airborn pathogens. At home, your personal dust is fine, but in a hospital where there are chemo patients and sick people trying to fight off sickness, it's actually pretty bad to have around.

this is why people stay so sick and get so sick so easily now days its because people clean to much and don't let their kids play outside and get dirty so really this isnt as good of a thing as some may think

people we need some dirt and dust in our lifes it helps build our immune system to help fight off colds and infections

don't get me wrong you don't need to live in filth but some dust and dirt is a great thing to have actually

@fishin25530 i admit they used a lot of unnecessary things, like gloves to change the bed sheets, but that's how they do things at a hotel business. Too many unnecessary things are not common in average day lifestyles, but it's cool to have the useful tools. :)

Also deep cleaning is necessary to prevent dirt from building up. Honestly the best way to have a good immune system is through exercising often and eating healthy foods. Dirt will build up no matter how clean your house is, so you might as well clean it thoroughly on a regular basis.
