I see its Maya 3D, is there a free version and how much does full version cost? my guess is a lot lol. and one last thing about how hard / long does it take to learn / do all of that? plz reply whenever you have time thx :)

these are not real time graphics

the bottles have probably a polycount of 100k, so imposiible to render in real time, all you see are prerendered images!

Is Maya the best game designing program to use? and i was wondering what are good schools to go to for game designing in 3d, ect.

its not a game designing program its actually a any type of animation designing software. To use game making software you have to have st598 and Maya to actually interact with the animation.

Firstly, I would like to say that the title of this video may be misleading to some. This video is not a making of documentary. It is mainly just a bunch of clips of the animation process edited together. And while this video may not show the detailed steps of how you made these(excellent)animations, it still shows a bit of the creative genius it takes to make something that good, which provides enough viewing pleasure. lol, ur just like me them, U should try tolearn modeling in Autodesk Maya first, maya is a 3d software and there is a free version; PLE, search google.

Maya is a 3d modeling and animation tool, if your going to get into animation look into maya, xsi,and 3dsmax.

The program is called maya. Check autodesk theres a ple edition, but theres also an 7 grand independent license. You can consider it easier to use in terms of animation. Its not just an animating product its much more, but DONT think just because you see what you see in the video you think you can recreate, if you have max 8, stick with max 8 as its animation is rivaled to.

what no its not its 2d some parts of it are 3d but how did they add the 2d pics of the south park peeps

well yes and no you see they took an image of the chacters from 1998,and morphed it so they could put 3D mouths over the morphed 3D objects thus making the chacter,and all the buildings are in 3D but there in a paper cutout texture.its hard to understand but thats what they do.

I agree, most people tend to shy away from 3d once they try it. For some reason many people find it overwhelming. Personally I find modeling to be rather addicting and would like to pursue it further in the future.

I just wanted to splurge my admiration for this making of reel. X3 Absolutely inspiring!

um I can answer that question you connot download it you have to purchase it from the company also it is a 9,000$ software program so I you dont have the cash just try another free one like blender.May I remind you that 3D is a complicated thing you cannot just do it without learning it for sometime first it is something you should take seriously.

John, the Jesus character was done for a prototype of a 3D animated tv serie. I and my company are in São Paulo, Brazil.

The music is a germany band called Helium Vola.
