you dont have to change the compositing mode. Just use the chroma key>black. To more effectively change it, use track motion.

Just head to Apple's website and search up "Quicktime". You should get a valid download. I think your computer may have a virus. Seek help if your family is computer illiterate. Computers should not 'randomly' shut down. Your graphics card could also be overheating. Again, seek help and have them check out your computer and make sure to mention something about a virus and about your graphics card overheating.

Aw, sorry man. I was in Maui during the process of your comment being posted.

Don't go to recent places. Save the file (I'm assuming you are talking about the special effect) to My Documents->Movie Effects. Yes, you're going to need to make a file called Movie Effects in My Documents. Then, when the effect is saved, go back to Sony Vegas and browse to My Documents->Movie Effects->(name of the file)

Hey If you have HD, do you get TOD files? Because thats what i get and what I do is convert it to mpeg using a free program called Mpeg_Streamclip. Then you can add the clips to vegas. I think the quality is decreased but if you just wanna do stuff for youtube it turns out quite well
