j'avais 14 ans quand cette musique est sortie, trop forte cette regina ,super de réecouter ceci, vive les année 80 ,un salut a tous les internautes alai de france
@michaelsiewert Really good for her! Wow this is such a great song and I really thought that the one who sung it was Madonna during the 80s at 7 years old everytime I'd hear this on the radio I'd turn the volume up and one time when it was played on the radio, I ran as fast as I could to the casette tape deck to record this song & remembered playing it back over & over and sometimes sung it with a microphone. (with Regina!)
No doubt they were positioning her as a Madonna competitor...You can imagine the studio exces getting excited as they hear this song, especially in those parts where she hits those Madonna-like notes (the part where she sings "Where I Am",and that little belt out toward the end,LOL..)
I didn't pay attention to all that back then, though.I liked it then, and now,in it's own regard as 80's music.
Yeah when I first heard this song, I thought it was Madonna. I can imagine that is what A&R thinking was back then. Madonna was truly an icon that could not be replicated back in the 80s and into the 90s. Madonna continued to evolve as an artist by changing up her style.
I LOVE THE 80S
