thanks john this was a blast from the past. sort of a trip down amnesia lane. i was born in 1962. so as a small boy in toledo,ohio my mom would listen to the radio(one of those that sat on the table with the big round dial with a clothe speaker grille) as we got ready for school and it would play this song.. what a sweet memory.. man do i miss those simple days.

For an avid (social) dancer, such as myself, this song makes for a sensational foxtrot. The tempo is rapid, so it takes some ability to navigate the dance floor without colliding with someone. Usually I hear it in the Hurricane Smith version, but yours is very good, and because the two of you both (in his case, had) a raspy voice, I thought you were the same singer. Anyway, you've done a very nice piece of work. Thanks and congradulations!
