Please check out "compound" parabolic solar cookers. They do not need to be aimed at the sun so often as parabolic solar cookers. Also the pot is a bit nearer the bottom of the dish which helps shield it from the wind. A compound parabolic solar dish does not produce a really hot point (but the light stays on the pot longer).
