Well, there is no doubt, certain planes like the Sopwith Camel killed more pilots than were lost in battle due to torque - but that's the whole point. Imagine a motorcycle with a 200lb spinning motor between the legs. THAT would require some bollocks! Might even remove some...

The engine is oriented on the bike so any centripetal forces go front-to-back, not side-to-side. Accelerating or decelerating the engine won't torque the bike sideways and affect handling at all. Besides, only the crank and transmission are actually rotating, there isn't really so much spinning mass. You're thinking like the whole engine is spinning, like a giant electric motor...
