this is the truth. i a black woman and a lesbian. i need a therapist and thank God i have one. but how many people are out there who need support and are lacking it? people think that when we have pride and pretend we can get by but it doesnt work that way. to get through an issue you have to go through it. you have to face it. and it can be overwhelming if you've held things in for so long and they all come at you at once. its frightening.

@loversarelunatics well said. i couldn't agree with you more! it wasn't until i found a therapist and worked through many, many issues that i started to feel okay with who i am. and that means ALL of who i am. you are so right when you spoke on holding things in for so long and having them all come at you at once. i would encourage my lesbian sisters who are struggling to seek help and find a good, loving support system.

No, really?....How can christians preach hell and damnation in this life and curses in the next and profess to really know Christ? If Christ is anything like the hypocrits that point fingers at everyone they deem "sinful"...we are all headed for damnation, especially the morons spouting religious rhetoric.
