  • good stuff

nice guitar. Is that a taylor nylon string?

  • you rock!

  • At the start of the video I thought he was a pedo :<

  • @109296 - hopefully you learned something ?? :-) cheers

  • What do i need for an entire looper for a guitar and a microphone?

  • @WawnTawn those things are cool - they work with whatever you plug into them. any electric instrument bacically. happy looping!!!

  • yeaaa

  • is the boss loop specific for acoustic or does it sound just as well for electric?

  • @willxmac1 i've used it for both. i really like that pedal.

  • @delpuckett . you've just convinced me to buy one, great job mate. . . . .

  • @willxmac1 all of the above - whatever you plug into it :-)

  • I don't know whats more weird--playing nirvana and hendrix on a classical guitar or the intense stare into my living room at the beginning of the video! I thought I was about to get robbed.

  • @boechsner exactly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice video.

  • Might not be your style but you should play a Sleepy Jackson track next :) the singer has real good guitar tunes

  • thanks love the loopstation and the sounds you are made with .

  • Thanks for the demo! Is there a way to have it finish a loop it's playing and then stop once the loop is finished?

For example, you play chords for a verse, then play a melody. And then you do (insert your answer here) so you can record the chords for the chorus in a new phrase once the loop in the first phrase finishes. Is that possible?

  • Very interesting, hope you like what i did; i would appreacite comments

  • you look like you're about to rob a bank...

  • @lukehuels - thanks...

  • nirvana?

  • That sounds great man, what kind of guitar is that? nylon string?

  • @309502854 Taylor Nylon - i like it for that Nylon sound...

  • Ive just bought a crafter hcc, looks like yours nice guitar. Great video, interested in looper, most helpful Thanks...

  • Hey, just got a Boss Loop Station. When I loop s/thing I have a pause at the end of the loop. How do I get rid of that pause? I want it to loop just like you did the Nirvana and Hendrix song on this video.

    Any help would be Kewl!

  • @FuzzyMcButterWink - first of you have to know the "time signature" of your lopp and exactly how long you want it. for example for a 4 bar loop: i would count off four beats to get into the "groove" of the song, then step on the looper on the "ONE" -play/record your loop while maintaining your "counting" ... be sure to turn the looper OFF on the "ONE" of the next measure. this should help :-)

  • @delpuckett Hey, thanks for the info,I was coming in on beat 2... I got a grip on it now. I'm creating cord progression and soloing over the top! This thing is Awesome! Gonna upload tomorrow!

  • There are boss loop stations on ebay. In the photo for them there is only the picture of the actual unit. It doesn't show any of the leads. Do you have to buy the appropriate leads yourself or what??

  • @delpuckett thank you, you solved my similar problem. Sure is fun to jam against along with a self-made track!

  • @FuzzyMcButterWink Is it possible to have a loop station without an "electric rig", & to just have the amp, guitar and loop station.

How much did your loop station cost.

Is it as simple as plugging the guitar into loop station, and having the loop station plugged into the amp?

  • @1091Floyd21 yeah it is.

  • @1091Floyd21 Tucker441 is right, yes...you don't need an electric rig. All you need is an amplified guitar. Plug into the loop station then then amp.

  • @FuzzyMcButterWink If I were to buy a boss loop station on ebay would it come with leads, or is it possible to get them easilly. Thanks

  • @1091Floyd21 Leads??? solos? You can record with it to from any audio device. You do have to buy a power suppy or lots of batterys.

  • @FuzzyMcButterWink Thanks for replying. I meant leads as in, 'cables' not solos.. my bad.

I didn't know you'd have to buy a power supply, I thought you'd just plug it in. Is it best to try for a power supplies online.

    Thanks

  • Hey, Can you please please tell me the tabs for that part between 2:08 and 2:11??

  • @G0thKyd - ?? sorry - i'm just improving ??

  • @delpuckett lol i don't get what you mean by improving. Anyways, I really needed to add it to theLionel Richie - Hello guitar solo. I thought this little piece would make it alot better.

  • você não toca nada poderia colocar algo melhor para demostração.

  • muito ruim!!!!!! uma droga !!!!!!!!traduz isso ai mané você não toca nada...fok you

  • Nice hat. ; D Great vid.

  • looks like you ready to rob a bank XD jk diz a asom vid :)

  • is this a baritone guitar? Looks quite long

  • What are your settings for when you bang your guitar for the drum track? You recorded yours so effortlessly, when I try it I have to hit the guitar really hard to get anything from it, hoping to not damage it. Any suggestions there? Thanks!!

  • rock that nylon, cant go wrong with a taylor, the Taylor factory is 6 miles from my house

  • Hendrix on a Classical. Love it!

  • Wow.. you make this look like eating a candy.. wonderful stuff bro!!

  • dude looks like you have lots of fun. thats good. that's what music is all about

  • Looks like Chad from RHCP. Therefore, your awesome! :D

  • Lovely wee demo. Cheers

  • Amazing ! Fail Jimi Hendrix though.

  • Thank you so much for posting that. I used to jam with myself this way and had so much fun doing it but I used a spaghetti-mess of cables and stuff to do it on my computer using multitrack software. This looks much easier with the potential for spontaneity. I will be getting a loop station or something similar ASAP. Definitely inspiring!

  • omg you look like will ferrell

  • Actually u kinda inspired me man, tnx a lot u rock.

I'll buy a loop station ASAP

  • the hamburler had a stripped outfit with a cape and a zoro hat

  • its the hamburglar !

  • its will ferrels brother

  • nice man, sold me on the pedal

  • Comment removed

  • Good vid dude. i have a question. i play in my band, im thinking about purchasing this. is there a way to turn off the drum part?

  • so you built santana on top of nirvana. nice

  • hey what guitar are you playing there?

  • Taylor Nylon

  • Classic white man dance movies. Nice.

  • brill thanks just bought a jamman you have given me a lot of tips

  • HAHA!!! "PURPLE HAZE! ALL IN MY BRAIN!!!" that was awesome!

  • do you want a job as a teacher or do you work for Boss? haa

  • what song was that in the beginnning?

  • Come as you are ! Nirvana 4 ever =)

  • I know I can buy software to do the same thing, but I don't care, I'm gonna buy a loop station. Improvisational jams and composition, love it.

  • Nice guitar playing. But in the begining when the camera was zoomed in to your face when I saw your hat I thought you were going to rob a house.

  • hell yeah , nice tribute to nirvana

  • Great. Thanks Will Ferrell.

  • hahaha i was thinking the same

  • hahah LMFAS

  • hey man, sounds great.. gonna buy the boss rc-20xl pedal very soon, but just one question, what kind of guitar is it that you're using in this video?

  • nirvana and jimi hendrix

  • swear to god i thought that was will farrel for like 5 seconds

  • NICE!

"Purple haze all in my brain

Lately things just dont seem the same

Actin funny, but I dont know why

scuse me while I kiss the sky!"

  • i would get the jamman looper for 50 bucks more and theres tons more memory like 99 loops and 24 minutes

  • Very nice demo. Thanks. PEACE

  • Thats okay =). Cab you tell me what the two chords are you play? and if you are in any sort of tuning?.

  • at 1:24 it's Am to G

    Jay Robinson

  • What kind of classical guitar is that? Love the sound of it. Nice job.

  • Taylor

  • awesome!

  • Nice playing (and looping!)

  • you shoud get and eletic guitar

  • Im happy there is a tutorial with an accoustic.. cause everyone is doing them with electrics..

  • he does.. just didn't use it.

  • hehe clearly need one too^^

  • you got me really inspired man! thanks!

  • Electro Harmonix Memory Man, There's something called a Boomerang too, Boss rc-50, Line 6 echo pro or dl4 can do some too. Also Gibson Echoplex is one that is expensive as hell but supposed to be awesome. Or just use Ableton Live to do it....

  • brilliant man...but now i need one soo bad!

  • great demo. i want one so bad. great jammin on the guitar too. i luv the style

  • awesome man, I love seeing someone like yourself just rocking out and having fun really getting into the music.

  • :) that was fun! loved the nirvana/santana tune! good job. i just got the RC-20. loads of fun. check out my vids

  • Damn, you're so good, i like your guitar playing, and your style, keep up the good work, damn you inspire me;)

    thanx man!

  • umm....what are you playing in the beggining???

  • Maldito ignorante!

  • come as you are

  • cOME AS YOU ARE BY NIRVANA

  • how much does it cost? how many loops can it take at 1 time? wicked video man.

  • ~ $100 i would guess on ebay - you can only play one loop at a time - you can store up to 10 loops. good luck

  • cool .. i just got a digitech gnx4 a few months ago .. i need to get into some loopin .. if i can get my foot to cooperate haha

    5 stars from me ..

    jeff

PS eh .. i thought i was already sub'd and friended to your channel .. i sent you a friend invite and sub'd so .. i am NOW haha .. sorry for the delay ..

  • capo420420, I have a gnx4, but man the looping features seemed so complicated and counter-intuitive.

I bought an RC-20 this afternoon and I'm already having a blast with it.

I'm working on original loops to jam out with live, already come up with about 20+ different loops that sound cool. :) It's definitely fun, and hella easier than using the gnx4... I'm using a Boss ME-50 in front of it, but maybe if you have more patience than me you can figure it out using the gnx4.

  • Fantastic! what a great peice of kit!

  • beautiful!!! never heard that song ike that classical stile or acoustic whatever man i like those tipes of covers !!!

  • The RC2 is quite good - why buy such expensive other loop stations when this loop station is the best for practice and loop in live gigs

  • well, the reason is the other loop stations do more. for instance, i need to have 3 input channels as well as a microphone input, all with seperate looping capabilities, and I want to pack multiple sections of loops that I can choose from seperately. let me know how you can do that all with the rc2 and I'll settle for it

  • i only do one loop at a time - i 'dont think' the rc-20 can do all that?? i could be wrong. maybe others know...? good luck

  • drunktastic you're right, I guess it really depends on your style (as with most pedals) cool ... Delpuckett, yeah rc-20 can pack a lot of extra stuff the RC2 can't, gotta check it out it's sweet.

  • Maybe look at the RC-50?

  • Savin up for it. I read some reviews that it was buggy and won't midi sync proper, but I'm hoping that it isn't or I may be screwed. Only thing else I think I would have to do is settle for a mac laptop and ableton which is going to set me back monetarily way more and have more risk of crashing I would think. Technology is such a blessing and a curse

  • i've never had a problem. but i dont do midi - GOOD LUCK !!!

  • I'd play around a lot with it in a store before you purchase. Ask a lot of questions and do a lot of research. RC-50's cost some serious coin.

  • i'm not sure - i've only used the Boss Loop Station. ??

  • what are the names of the songs you play in this vid

  • a mix of Santana's famous "oye como va", Nirvana's "Come as you are"... then there some Jimi Hendrix (purple haze). all adlibed and improvised...so nothings perfect. just goofing around.

  • pretty cool

  • come as you are!

  • dude your the man

  • interesting integration of santana into nirvana..lol.

i wish your video showed more of your feet rather than you just playing. I want to learn how the pedal works- not really watch someone play guitar...

  • Do you act like this even when your woman is home. Very unsusual personality to say the least. Disney version of nirvana.

  • nirvana

  • how did u do the drums?

  • just by banging on the guitar is select places. bass drum kinda behind the bridge...snare on the upper bout or fretboard...etc experiment

  • Whats the difference between this one and the littler one?

  • real estate - knobs that share responsibilities

  • this is awesom im gunna buy that pedal thing

  • man.. try put "level" from pedal more higher.. and "instrument level" a few lower... because when does u play, the loop goes so farr.. =/

  • i know...dangit !!! :-(

  • I want one of those pedals! This guy is great eh!

  • youre awesome

  • I think both Cobain and Santana will be proud and Hendrix.

  • Cobain would be proud

  • Thanks stranger! That was top awesome and useful!

  • AMAZING !

  • You're badass.
