I have the new video. It is great. No shame in doing this. I think some folks are calling it a cop out. It isn't. They put their twist on it. Sounds great.
The bass line at the end of "Lucy..." is a bit Beatles/Cheap Trick "Oh Carloine". Really fun to hear. And fun to watch. they seem to love the Beatles as much as I did. They put TLC into this. God Bless Cheap Trick. ;)
Rnobody and aaard- you don't get it. I saw this show at the Hollywood Bowl last summer. Cheap Trick doesn't do note-by-note recreations (ever hear their versions of Ain't that a Shame or California Man or their version of Magical Mystery Tour or Day Tripper?). They do great versions- but with their take on it. A bit more rock- Trick style- but with the full orchestra it is amazing! I'm going to 2 of the Vegas shows in Sept.- can't wait!
I like that the Las Vegas Hilton is trying some new things. Vegas shows have tended to become stale and predictable. When I was out there earlier this year I saw the awesome Monster Circus show at the Hilton and now I wish I could be there for one of these shows. Keep rockin' Hilton!
Thank you. Great interview.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Professional Beatles Tribute bands have done this as well, ever hear of Beatlemania in the late 70's or currently Rain: The Beatles Experience?
This is kind of a cheesy hype on the part of the Las Vegas Hilton, I think the tribute band do it better anyway.

Classic Albums Live has been doing this show with an orchestra note for note for 6 years.
