not something i want to rely that much on. The only thing i like about it is the egress routes it draws. The masks now tell you when your running low on air anyways so not much of an advantage with that.
I love the idea, but agree that it seems only big cities like new york will be able to afford it. It's not clear if you need special gloves or not. Something that gets soaked and replaced often is not a good medium to put input devices in. I'd like to see you be able to touch the corner of the mask to bring the temp up bigger. Also, what happens when you condensation inside the mask? Big problem in alaska. Would love to test it up here! On exit, do it so you can key in an exit for all to see
Great concept. If it comes to fruition, it needs to be affordable. I am concerned about the egress marking system though. How would you make that part functional without planting some kind of transmitter first?
Looks cool and helpful. But it also looks exspensive and im concerned about durability. We do a lot of crawling on the floor and breaching walls. Will the gloves be able to hold up to these tasks? This could also make some of us to dependent on technology and less on skill and training.
@SpprtAssoc i think they made the program within the mask to only comprehend to the fabric or grip of your fingers, so theres probably no technology within the gloves itself beside the mask responding to your glove.
I really like the thermal overlay and the point of egress. I am just curious how that works? is there a sensor or something on a ladder at the window or something
