the way i see it, these child prodigies just were more interested in learning than all of us. When all we cared about was pokemon and yu-gi-oh or w.e., they were caring about how to integrate a multivariable function. To be honest, i always was intruiged by long strings of equations when i was young, but quite frankly, the newest episode of dragon ball z was more important to me at the time. these kids are smart, and just like to learn, nothing wrong with it, theyre doing what makes them happy

well when you break it down to the atomic level it's fascinating how the universe looks completely different. The knowledge of physics is the cure to naive realism that we're born with. I think that is what the kid meant but simply doesn't have the language skills to express what he is thinking yet. Well, I understand what this young man is going through. I was labeled a "gifted child" and I had the opportunity to attend a couple of different universities in my early teens. I cringe when he says "I've seen normal twelve year olds." I used to feel the same. In fact, I once considered people my age inferior. But, you grow up and realize that each and every one of us have individual talents. In any case, there is nothing wrong with encouraging competitiveness. Thank you.
