Christmas is really just about the birth of Christ and it is celebrated for many other religions which also read scripture. If we don't want to celebrate this, we don't have to. Christ wasn't even born in the winter. According to astrology with the position of the north star, Jesus was born between September and October nowhere near December or the winter solstices which was celebrated during that time and WAY before his birth. Christmas is really just about the birth of Christ and it is celebrated for many other religions which also read scripture. If we don't want to celebrate this, we don't have to. We don't need to ruin other people's joy. If atheists would want to gain an ear, or ask questions, let's find a respectful arena for this. YouTube is helpful in this regard. ;)

Christ wasn't even born in the winter. According to astrology with the position of the north star, Jesus was born between September and October nowhere near December or the winter solstices which was celebrated during that time and WAY before his birth. In fact Christmas could be best described as a fusion holiday with literally NOTHING to have to do with Christ, the tree = pegan, the candles/lights = pegan, about the only thing that might be attributed to Jesus is the gifts.

Fact is that there is not a shred of evidence for hell, heaven, angels etc. If they do exist then produce a location in the existence where we can find them. If you have no such evidence then your belief is superstition and comes from indoctrination, cultural pride or substantive lack of education in the natural sciences.
