@deathknight246810 you can buy it...but you are encouraged to make it yourself. SCA is about more than just the fighting (though fighting is the most fun I think). They encourage you to get involved in learning a skill that was practiced in the middle ages...including armouring...plus its way cheaper to make your own.
yeah,,,,i want to learn a fighting style from europe middle age,,,,im tired of Kendo,,,,,,,,and i would like to fight with discipline,,,,not like a rushing barbarian.
Well, in my experience, there is some sort of meeting, then the field commander gave the standing orders, then i never see them again and rely on the people behind me to tell me where to go.
that makes sense because in Sun Tzu's art of war he states that only the officers should know of the overall strategy and they should command the troops in sections according to the strategy in place
i read sun tzus art of war, half of it is stylized bullshit, that sounds pretty, but never happens lol. And unless your hiding something from you men (good chance itll backfire), you tell them evrything. their lives.
I like "SLIP KNOT". It's a cool thing to keep alive and honor the way things were done in the past including the many arts used in those times. DBMA RULES!
2 questions,,,,,,in sca, dou you have to buy your armor,,or you hame ti make it? and how do you enter sca?
