I'm not sure how you figure he's gay while making a pledge of marriage to a member of the opposite sex, unless you figure heterosexual sentimentality is somehow mysteriously "gay", which is, dare I say, imbecilic. Nevertheless, this is the father of the Abridged Series, so it was perfect in the context in which it happened. He posted his message as a new episode so his fiance, also one of the voices of the abridged series, would see it, while likely in his presence.

It wasn't cheap. Little Kuriboh is the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series. He did this, so his then girlfriend would click on it thinking it was a new episode and be surprised. So it wasn't cheap at all.
