I've got mixed opinions about this. The music itself is really good, but the lyrics are a pretty lame.

However, I feel that Ashcroft is a poor songwriter without the Verve, and none of his solo stuff (I doubt even the United Nations of Sound will do much better) is as good as the Verve's Urban Hymns, even Forth!

Ive been a fan of the Verve since i 1st them support RIDE at Newcastle Mayfair in 1992 and seen the Verve/Ashcroft dozens of times. Everything that has went before was original/creditable and contained so much integrity.

This stuff is the mirror image of all that. Ashcroft has sold out with poor lyrics, he's mugged us off by creating a song for the BBC, for the money. Even the trasnlations are wrong. Total disrespect for all nations. The video is so embarrasing. ASHCROFT = SOLD OUT
