  • All the negative posting here is just sour grapes...most of you couldn’t afford a spare main-wheel tyre for his aircraft, so just pipe down, get a life and enjoy the fact that without people like JT the world would be a much poorer place!!

  • JOHN TRAVOLTA BEST MAN!!!!!!!!!

  • old ass plane and too loud

  • i least he is a good pilot

  • Interesting for me as a Munich guy is that he was allowed to land on our Airport. I've heard, that the original engines were very loud - to loud for noise regulations of today?`Or does he use more modern engines on his 707?

Normally on German Aiports noisy aircrafts cant land anymore...?!

  • The aircraft registered N707JT as of 1/7/10 has on its US FAA registration "JT3D-3&3B" engines. There are quieting kits made for the engines, and they meet most international standards. What Travolta has done to retrofit his aircraft I cannot tell you, hope this helps. ;-)

  • Yup that's him all right. He was going to be a pilot for Qantas being the reason for the whole 80's livery. I love it. Instead he took a turn and decided to do the whole acting thing, he still loves flying with a passion though. I think he should end his acting career and begin an airline career. He does love it so much.

  • love the QANTAS 1950s livery !!

  • Supporter of Global Warming

    Hippocratic

  • ahhh shut up. the world is fucked up, enjoy whats left while we still can.

  • I know little of Travolta's political views, and don't give a shit in this instance. I simply think that it is interesting and commendable that he has restored a classic Boeing 707...there aren't many left except in 3rd world nations and for cargo-hauling in the 3rd world...and SAHA Airlines in Iran.

So kudos to Travolta for restoring a vintage 707...he could have had the newest Boeing Business Jet or what have you, but chose to be a "Historic Preservationist." Same as steam locomotive.

  • I couldn't agree more ,

  • Maybe you ignore that you contribute more to the global warming with all the usual activities that we, living in the 21st century believe normal,(using a car, heating during winter, air conditioning during summer and so on, even to produce food) unfortunately there is the need to burn fossil combustible...all the uman activities needs energy...maybe using a boeing 707 just for himself is too much but he is one over million..the world-wide aviation produces hardly the 3% of global warming gas

  • Yeh and my backside is blue!

  • dude he's serious they're on sale on ebay for 5$ this week, check em out

  • Gross opulence.

  • I saw his home/run and 2 planes on a documentary and its cool.

  • WHATEVER, PLANES ARE FUCKIN COOL MAN.

  • uh I don't think flying from America to Germany would qualify as "down the street".

  • John Travolta is an ambassador for Qantas. When Qantas recently restored another 707, when it was being flown back to Australia, John Travolta's plane and the Qantas 707 were coincidently at the same airport and made it into the filming of the documentary of the Qantas 707 restoration.

  • Come on, where'd ya hear that?

  • dude john travolta is the man pulp fiction FTW!

  • wow

  • How fantastic to be flying a 1959 vintage airliner. The 707-138B is the rarest of the rare. Thanks to JT, its legacy lives on.

  • I own one of them to! and fly it ofcourse!

  • I heard he had mechanical probs and had to make an emerg landing in Dublin.

  • nah it was shannon, but yeh your right

  • Cool! :D

  • Saturday Night Flight FEVER....Great video!!!

  • Scientology pays!

  • Shouldn't he be flying a UFO?

  • take five! lol great comment!!!!

  • Who said he was even on that plane? That could've been anyone who took this short, boring film.

  • Soooooorry! But I had to do a job for 3 days and was involved by his schedule. So I knew a lot!

  • He's flying for himself. But his co-pilot is always with him.

  • does he always fly it himself, or does he have pilots,

  • kk

  • how did u know he was coming into this airport

  • he was his co-pilot ;)))

I am not sure if this is John Travolta - I think this could be also Tom Cruise, or Nelson Mandela ;)

  • yes! it is John Travolta!

He is one of the highest ranked pilot in USA, and he flies all of his planes... this plane is the only one operational 707 left with Quantas livery.

People think that is just a show off guy.. but for your info, FLying planes is the biggest passion of Travolta, and acting comes next, it pays the planes and the rest...

  • his isnt the only 707 with the qantas livery that is operational. there was a british show that restored another qantas 707 and they flew it back to australia

  • I admire his choice of aircraft. How refreshing.

  • Just as me!
