Alright now! Good for you! That's what you have to do-put your foot down early. I learned early on that if I didn't take time for "me", I'd be no good to anyone else. In order to do that, you have to insist that everyone in the family helps out and that starts with the hubby! I'll be praying that all goes well!
You go GIRL!! Sometimes that is what you have to do, you have to put your foot down and knock some sense into them. I don't have children, but sometimes it seems like I am a single mother of one...him. P/u up after him, cleaning up after his mess, I take care of the entire household - his job is his only duty. I just don't even bother asking for the help, he'll just say something I didn't want to hear and it will just make me even more upset. I like that about you, you say it like it is!
@sil2289 I miss you so much, I think about my cards all the time. They are safely locked away in the closet. You are talented! I want to take some copic classes because I have to learn that way.......you maam are gifted ( you know what I mean). Yes, honey you have one child.....HIM lol........let him know next time you will color him down with every copic that you have UNLESS he starts helping you because you don't have a maid and he does not either OKAY. Take some time for yourself. SMOOCHES.

My only complaint (right now ) with my husband is that he is so needy. If I give my son his time, our grandson some time well were is daddy time? while I am thinking I can't even give myself time but GOD will work that out as well.....

Girl please, he wouldn't even have till Jan. LOL. Women grow up & men grow down. Seems they reach about 20 yrs, then they level out at 30-35, some 40, but not without going back to then teenage yrs a few times. 45-50 that seem to think they really are 20 again. This phase sticks awhile. No matter how they're raise they ALL regress. The ones who are raised very well may not regress so much so quickly. Stay on them boys so they can be one of good ones. :) Hope your man gets it together. :)

But, even after that I can have a "time served" stamp on my tickect because he has been warned lol.....SERIOUSLY. I know exactly what you mean girl. I recently had to talk to my husband about helping around the house since we had we had a baby 11 months ago and I just feel like I do everything. I asked him "why don't you help around more, don't you live here too"? And he response was "well why don't you ask me hey can you come do the dishes, or vacuum"? I was like uumm I don't need to ask you to do anything, you just should just know to do it".
you are so right ! don't let go of the reigns cause men will take adventage, sorry to say buy after 22 years my men will do anything .... if only i tell him. they just don;t see what needs to be done. my sister says it's easier to just do it herself then but i don't think it's fair if you both also have jobs. so yes, i'm a diva telling him what i want and how i want it ! bit i guess that's the way it needs to be to be satisfied
@beerzzz DIVA- you know what......even if you don't even have two jobs so what.... running a household (kids or not) is certainly a job in itself (high five lol).
