Due to (in raak1010's academic terms) the "pseudo randomess" of her star bullets in her non-spells and a few of her spells made it hard on NORMAL. Master Spark (her final spell) ALWAYS killed me on the third spark.

Lunatic is the only time I have difficulty with Marissa. The other times, I only die once. I never get all the spellcard bonuses, though. I always need to use at least one spellcard of my own.

I actually find Reimu a lot easier, having to find the graze point between two overlapping stars is a lot harder for me than just dodging between some talismans in a little cut-off area.
