System Shock is the only game i know, where Cyberspace is very closesly modelled after the ideas in the Neuromancer Tilogy. I liked it back in the day, and i still like it now. Even though the controlls suck hard, i think it makes movement in a 3D digital space believable.

@david419224 well playing system shock 1 is not required to enjoy SS2, and SS2 is easly the best game ever made, to bad it's damn nere inposible to get ether game running on modern PCs...

@RipOffProductionsLLC I'm playing SS2 right now on my Windows 7 System. It works perfect, just search for ss2tool. I also upgraded the game with some grafics mods, now it isn't just working fine, it looks beautiful too.

@MDKrinkels They're still good. I played this, it was fine, but I prefer games like System Shock 2, every main-series Fallout game and New Vegas, Halo, Bioshock... You do realize once kids my age (14) are adults they are probably going to be looking at videos of games they played as kids and going "Back when games were good..." That's just how it almost always is.

Brings back MANY memories. I loved System Shock but found the final climax far too easy, just keep right-clicking and you'll annihilate Shodan eventually. Still, it's a great game and had an awesome sequel too. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

Great game, but I always found the final battle with SHODAN a little anti-climatic. It is kinda cool how her face slowly materialises and obscures your vision, but she's still far too easy to defeat.

She's also easy in SS2. All you have to do is shut off 4 shield units, then shoot shodan a little bit and she's da-da-da-dead!

It was indeed, but somehow when I played the game for the first time when it was released, I loved it. I guess the sole idea of "a cyberspace" (travelling through data banks and all this good stuff) was enough to make me want to find the next cyber-interface as soon as possible on . Now when I replay it it's mostly just annoying, but back then it was, in a way, revolutionary, I guess.
