  • Lipizzans are born bay, brown, black or dark gray. Most will eventually turn white. Actually, they are truly grays as their skin is black under the white hair. That is why the Lipizzan often appears a silver color. A few will not change color and remain bay, brown or black for their entire lives. We have three bay Lipizzan mares at White Horse Vale,
