You owe every aspect of your modern life to the scientific method. Luckily, it's not some barbaric deity so it asks nothing in return. No need for a human sacrifice from my "religion."

Not even the comfortable modern tech gadgets are owed to the scientific method, because technique and natural science have opposite abstract-practical-abstract directions. Go back to before the scientific method then, and have fun in the dark ages where you belong. A scientific discovery shouldn't be credited to atheism or theism. Science, however, is materialist by definition. It is a naturalistic means of explaining our universe.
This has nothing to do with my lack of faith in any fairy tales, I'm sorry. Atheism and science are totally separate... but then you're the one trying to equate the two when you address me. You know better.

@Muchodelcrazy The "dark ages" talk is another myth, long rebutted. Anyone that studied the history of the Middle Ages seriously knows that. What is called science today is natural science, therefore its object is NATURE, which means it cannot deal with what transcends nature. But since materialist/skeptical dogma states that there's nothing but nature, materialists consider that natural science is knowledge itself, which is pathetic: neither statement can be proven by natural science.

Please, demonstrate that something transcends nature. The way we know what is real from what is fake is by there being some way to demonstrate it. It is essential to separating truth from lie. There is no reason to believe in transcendent beings, thought they COULD exist, and there is especially no reason to believe you could know anything about them telepathically.

The fact alone that nature is one way and not another is proof that nature got its being from other, ex alio. Everything that went from possibility into act was necessarily acted upon. The premise of natural sciences, the existence of nature, cannot be proven by the natural sciences themselves. This is some of what I can fit into YouTube comments.
