  • how do i store the toffee? & how long does it last?

  • @dollyInDaHouze Hi. Thanks for watching. You should store the toffee in a cool place in an air-tight container. The toffee should last for several weeks. Depending on the humidity of the area it is stored, it may stick together. If that is the case just break it apart. It may also go a bit soft. If that is the case it will just be a bit messy to eat. Hope this helps. Thanks again for stopping by.

  • @babi3italia Hi! Thank you so much for watching and writing in! I hope you can give this recipe a try! A tip I should've shared in the video... if possible, keep the 13x9 pan close to the stove so you can pour the mixture quickly. Once mine reached 300 degrees, I took too much time removing the thermometer and then walked across the kitchen to pour it into the pan. It was a tiny bit burnt in places, but was still good! Hugs and blessings to you and yours!!!

  • any subs for the nuts i'm allergic?

  • @balletdancer247 Hi! Thank you for watching and writing in. You can just leave the nuts off and this will still turn out fine. Happy Holidays and hugs!

  • @ibemamo Thanks so much for watching and writing in! This makes great presents in gift tins. I hope you can give this a try. Just make sure your thermometer is accurate and, if possible, keep your 13x9 pan close to the stove so you can pour the mixture in quickly because this can burn very easily. Wishing you and yours a happy and blessed holiday!

  • It is a small world… My sister in Los Angeles makes huge batches of this every year and mails out big canisters to everyone for Christmas. And (True story!) my son and I JUST ate the last 2 chunks from last year (about an hour ago)!

Then, I found this video… Amazing, eh?

    Another great video, Amy!!!!!

  • @SmokeyGoodness Wow! How cool is that? Eating the last 2 chunks and then found my video? Thanks so much for stopping by... always love hearing from you. Hugs and blessings to you and your beautiful family!

  • @GoblinFan2007 Thank you so much! I hope you can give this a try! A tip I should've shared in the video... if possible, keep the 13x9 pan close to the stove so you can pour the mixture quickly. • @rangatang0624 Thank you dear O! Hope you will like this! Merry Christmas my sweet friend!

  • @usafireandrescue I sure will...I have a peanut brittle recipe that i do in the microwave and everyone loves it...I even have neighbors ask me to make them a batch....its so easy and you dont have to stand over it constantly stiriing, lol,.

  • @rangatang0624 A peanut brittle recipe in the microwave? Oh wow.. that sounds good! My Mom makes a killer peanut brittle, but you have to stir constantly and, just like this toffee recipe, if you don't keep your eye on it and move quickly, it can burn. I would love to see your recipe ;-)

  • @usafireandrescue I just submitted it to your website...gl, O

  • @rangatang0624 I just found it O! It looks great! Thank you for sending it in! I will try it soon! Hugs...
