@jaymeraypivia1 You can print straight onto the cardstock if you don't want to emboss or colour the image with markers/watercolours afterwards. But if you miss this first step and try to colour the image, it will smudge the outline. Therefore you use the acrylic matt gel on the cardstock first, to keep the ink wet long enough to emboss, sealing the image ready for colouring. Hope this makes sense?!?
Thanks so much for answeing my question. So I would need any acrylic matt gel for this project. and I have a standard HP photosmart printer, that is ok for this as well. I have printed and imbossed onto vellum from this printer but that was using HP ink, this time I have a cheaper product that dries really fast and Im sure wont do unless I try your way. Thank you for the heads up and love the projects you do.

@Nadia1175 You can use any ink jet printer for this technique show in my video.
Just to note: A laser printer would not need the acrylic matt gel & embossing steps as the ink is heat set onto the page during printing, but as most people only own ink jets, that's what I based my tutorial on. Hope this helps!
Adorable card! I LOVE giraffes -- this card turned out really cute. I'd love to see you create a few baby cards....i love your work. Thanks for sharing!
hi.. i would like to ask why do you need to add acrylic matt gel?
