  • this is the better version? This was filmed on a potato what was the worse one was what hand sketched on a napkin??

  • good defensive fight by mccarthy

  • I was actually at the game, Probie started this fight and was ponding McCarthy at the start, Probie's right arm got tangled up in his jersey and they both traded about the same for a short while, the linesman kept pulling on Probie's jersey whenever he was getting the upperhand, then McCarthy took over for a bit and Probie head-butted McCarthy, the linesman jumped in. The linesman should have let Probie go, he would have killed McCarthy. This fight was a draw, and I am a Calgary/McCarthy fan.

  • What a fag Probert was. He lost like 3 times in that fight.

  • Ya see?

  • Neither of these goons, could have touched Gillies!

  • haha everyone beakin probert. Mccarthy shoulda opened up and went toe 2 toe instead of just holding proberts arm. Mcarthy got lucky on where he grabbed Probert and completly locked him out, all yous are internet goofs who r all pussies. Probert and Brown were the best, No questions asked

  • @SweetTooth44 Probert isn't even in the top 5 .... lost way too often including here. Jumped McCarthy and still lost by a wide margin; that's not top 5 stuff. Behn Wilson, Larry Playfair, and Clark Gillies were all better than Probert, as was Dave Brown. Put Jim McKenzie in the top 5, or some of the other 20 - 25 guys who beat Probert for that matter. Willi Plett was certainly better as well.

  • @justice008a see u aint too smart, So just cause Brown lost, Ray, Kyte or like Wilson lost too Fotui or Wensink, Or just like Berube lost to Byers or Macdermined. U say anyone who beats them is on top of them in the fight statistics.. No no one u mentioned is better then probert, maybe brown. Fuck Plett? r u kidding me. U honestly dont no shit about nhl fights. Top NHL fighters r ones who fight a lot of heavies, have a good record. Wilsons, Pletts have terrible fight cards like I mentioned

  • @SweetTooth44 "u ain't too smart"; OK I'll just list the guys who decked or busted open Probert -- Ewen, Laus, Berube, DAVE MORRISETTE (LOL), CHRIS TAMER (LOL), and I still laugh every time I see Ken Belanger dusting Probert 30-0 with both hands (whoever Ken Belanger is LOL). That isn't the whole list and you know it; I could keep going. Wilson beat Clark Gillies twice when Gillies was thought to be the best. He beat Barry Beck when Beck was unbeaten. Probert has no such signature wins

  • @justice008a ya thats cause probert stuck his head out and didnt give a fuck, he can take punches man. Proberts the toe 2 toe master. Ewen is the only one who actually stunned probert, Like I said when u get to the age probert was around 35 after all those years of fighting, he probably new if he fought a younger tough guy, toe 2 toe hed lose but he was always lookin for that big one punch to put a guy out when he was on the hawks.

  • @justice008a and hey answer this question.. U can only name 1 tough guy wilsons fought and beat, lol, Gillies and managed 1 on Clark. Beck isnt even good. And proberts list could go onn past 200. Grimmson, Brown, Berube, Clark, Coxe, Kimble, Cochrane, Baumgartner, Tocchet, Twist, Crowder, Domi. and the list goes on... And hes scrapped most of these guys over 5 times buddy. thats ends the discussion right there. Probert and Brown are the best. Berubes a follow up

  • @SweetTooth44 holy shit man, nice list.... except Clark, Crowder, Berube, Twist used Probert as their bitch LOL. Grimson, Brown, Domi all also scored wins over Probert. The list cannot go past 200. Probert is scored as 161 wins and loss or draw in 116 others. Not dominant especially for someone who cheated by altering his jersey. Wilson beat Plett 2X, Mulvey, Beck, Jonathan, Nilan 3X, Gillies 2X, Fraser, O'Reilly 3X, Paterson, McSorley, Clark 2X, McRae 2X. Plett is the only one with a win

  • @justice008a yep but proberts won more against them in a rival type thing for sure. Your Wilson list is about 55% bulllshit. face it man ur the only one who supports wilson. 1 in 500 people who watch hockey fights would say wilson is better then probert. U no in ur head no one supports u. Thats exactly why u go stick ur nose on other pages and try to support Wilson. Ive seen so many other people tell ya to shut it.

  • @SweetTooth44 my list is 100% factual look it up on here. There isn't one on here that isn't verified. Your list is a lot of made up numbers (bullshit). You go ahead and list the "200". There are few impressive names that Probert beat who didn't kick his ass in return, or in fact have a winning record against him. Their common opponents are Nilan (who beat Probert), Fraser (beat Probert), Clark (beat Probert 3 of 4 and called Wilson the best). Quit making my point for me; this is too easy.

  • @justice008a Nope i aint makin it easy for you. Im right, ur wrong. Wilson only fought a guy once lol. Probert is greater then Wilson

  • @justice008a so what ur sayin is if Wilson fought Probert 8 or 9 times, hed win all of them?. If Wilson scrapped Heavies more then once ud have a case. Wilsons only fought like 4 or 5 heavies and won, the rest r just randies

  • @SweetTooth44 Michel Petit, Rich Pilon, Olczyk, Keith Brown, Chelios, Jeremy Roenick... those are all guys on Probert's fight card. Those look like "randies" to me. If they fought 9 times I'd only take Wilson in 7 of 9 -- Probert would wriggle out of his non-tied down jersey in one so he could hang onto Wilson and leave Wilson nothing to hold onto. Probert would undoubtedly be in a cocaine-induced euphoria and feeling no pain in one other; that would be an advantage. Wilson wins all others

  • @justice008a ya dumbass i no they fought probert. But then Probert fought way more then wilson. Those guys you mentioned are the best on Wilsons card which is ridiculous. Probert beats wilson 7 or 8 times, nice try. If wilson scrapped like probert hed lose. How much fights does wilson actually stand back and trade em. Brown, Berube, Probert and cochrane all did that. And they've each bin cut open a few times. but that dont meen shit. Wilson sticked to getting points instead of fighting

  • @SweetTooth44 don't you have spell check on your computer? I can't even tell what you're trying to say, much less respond to it. Have another drink

  • @justice008a ahaaha nice try bud u just got served

  • @justice008a I bet eric lindros is in ur top 5. Just cause wilson had 4 or 5 losses dont make him the best. I'd say probert lost 10 or 15 fights, not 50. proberts only bin hurt once, by ewen. he was bloddied later in his career but he wasnt even hurt after the fights. fought close to 200 solid fighters. Wilsons fought only about 8 or 10. wilson got points but never fought much. He was tough but not compared to probert. but to answer ur question wilson is about 5 all time

  • @SweetTooth44 I didn't ask a question; I said Wilson is #1. Probert lost 10 or 15? Ewen, Morrisette, Laus, Belanger, Simon, McCarthy, Crowder, Brashear, Kocur, McCarty, Brashear, Crowder, McKenzie, Berube, Twist, Tamer, 2 more to Brashear, 2 to Domi, Nilan..... that's already 21 off the top of my head. I'm not kidding when I said Probert lost more than 50; he lost more than 50. His win-loss ratio is only about 3:1 -- certainly no more than 4:1. Playfair, Brown, Wilson all easily 20:1 W-L

  • @justice008a brown was loosing when he was old in mid 1990

  • @khav11 he started losing with a bit more regularity; maybe 2 or 3 a year. Brown was actually more dominant over the same time span I believe. I've said before Probert was definitely the most prolific of all time, but by no means the best.

  • @justice008a yeah brown is my favorite fighter but he was the meanest in the league and the scariest oh the nastiest he was everything .... im bigger than brown but heck i would not want any part ot it in a hockey fight back in teh days

  • @khav11 so wtfc brown sac squeezer.....

  • @justice008a Probie does a good job in this one but got beated CLEARLY bec McCarthy landed much more.

He was angry bec headbutted McCarthy realizing he lost this bout.

Great fight, one of the best of all the time though... Probie landed some but McCarthy landed many.

  • @SweetTooth44 probert lost about 50 fights. get real

  • @SweetTooth44 sorry it was not luck. Probert is the greatest all time no question idiots on here chirpin him are just fucking fools, but he said in his book McCarthy was the hardest puncher he faced. So no luck involved here.

  • @EyesOfTheSouthSTi uh ya it was, you can get lucky in fights where u can lock them out completly, u get lucky. and tell me where probert ever said McCarthy was the hardet puncher he ever faced. I heard Brown and Morrissette. McCarthy was a solid fighter

  • @SweetTooth44 Probert did jump McCarthy here and still lost. That is not luck. That is just McCarthy beating Probert. fany boys will be fan boys.

  • Yikes, headbutt. Not good.

  • great fight thanks for posting!

  • Kinda funny when the announcer said Probert got hit now hes mad, And Mcarthy just kept hitting him after that.

  • I'm pretty sure you could wind up and hit either one of those guys in the face with a shovel and they would just turn, laugh, then kick your ass.

  • EDGE McCarthy though

  • jumped him from behind and still got his ass kicked!!

  • Channel 50 in detroit, when they showed free hky on tv

    before illitch got greedy......

McCarthy winning the fight, and COKEHEADbob couldnt take it, and resorts to the COWARDLY headbutt

  • i remember this fight...probert was supposed to be untouchable and mcCarthy won that fight clearly...think the detroit fans were in shock after that happen in the own rink

  • Comment removed

  • When did Bob Probert play professional football? Probert was a great fighter but I think the ignorance you displayed would discredit your opinion of him being the best ever.

  • I love the headbutt!! Fuckin' Probie!! # 24 baby!!

  • Comment removed

  • Tony Twist is a one dimensional player who is a big time juicer....

  • Probert-Brown I was a draw, their rematch was won by Probert easily.

  • before there was zidane there was probert... but still probert is one of my favs

  • cheap move just cuz he losses the fight. lost some respect for probie right there. still tough as nails though

  • you knew his time in detroit was over after this............

  • COKEHEADbob started it, McCarthy "FINISHED" it!

  • we were at this game. probert was getting his ass kicked, and everyone at the Joe knew it.

  • Probert attacked Mccarthy from behind and still cant beat him, the prick even had to head butt him with his helmet on to get the ref to stop it! Mccarthy is one tough INDIAN

  • @jcd6969 Ha ha ha. The Chug hit 'em multiple times and couldn't put him away. All Probert did was look at him.

McCarthy was completely ouf of gas. McCarthy's about as tough as Taylor Swift (aka Rob Ray).

  • what a idiot: BillieBobSmith

  • Anyone who thinks Probert was over-rated is simply clueless and ignorant. Period!

  • haha exactly. Probert is no.1 all time and even put up points (and an All Star game) that put so called power forwards to shame.

  • ya proburt id tough . ya hit the guy when his back is turned. maybe the coke head is the biggest cheap shot artist that ever played the game

  • tie domi are you serious dude probert beat domi's ass quite a few rounds domi maybe got a couple in but the rest of the rounds belong to probie and dave brown good tough guy probert beat him edge again tony twist great enforcer but he did steriods so hes a druggie man

  • Show me where Probert ever beat Dave Brown.

Go snort a line off his dick why don't ya.

  • oi prick why dont you put it bob probert vs dave brown and watch yourself you douche

  • he's right...unfortunately Probert had the edge on Brown in both of their fights...Brown was the man but he had terrible balance

  • I just watched their first fight, and nothin much happened not many punches more wrestling and jocking for position.

The 2nd one was close but Probert knocked him down with a series of 3 punches. Brown was the man but he had terrible balance. I'm not sure if Probert pulled the old cheap ass lose the jersey routine. I'll have to go watch it again.

  • @shamshim probert vs brown type it in

  • @proberthull24 you realise of course that most enforcers in pro hockey dabbled with steroids and still do.

  • @hordichuck you do realize that probert did not do steroids? you do realize he drank mostly and did drugs sometimes staying up 72 hours straight and still kicked the shit out of most of the players he fought and also he could play the game?

  • so who would you call TOUGH then if probert isnt which is a laugh cause he was the toughest person in that nhl also am sick and tired of people bringing up these thing about probert and these drugs so what who cares if he did drugs its his choice its so old that about the drugs

  • what the fuck did you just say "Probert is overrated" what world are you living in dude probert easily won more fights then he lost domi maybe had probies number a couple of times however, probie latherd him in round 2 and a few more rounds later on

  • He can't fight too well against the heavyweights? What Probert fights have you not been watching?

Dave Brown, Todd Ewen, Troy Crowder, Glen Cochrane, Marty McSorley, and countless other heavyweight Probert's victims........

  • You want to read above mate the last comment he reckons probert was "Overated" haha

  • haha classic head butt
