I've found an app in the App Store which has copied 300+ contacts from my Nokia E72 to my new iPhone 4S in a minute without using any PC/Mac software (it copied the contacts via the "cloud"). Pretty simple and worked fairly well (though it isn't perfect since it copies only two phone numbers per contact). The app is called "ConCopy".
