i remem, ber an interview with Miles where the interviewer asked what he thought of the reviews and Miles said (or words to this effect) 'pffft dont care, they (the tracks) went down a storm in my house'
'give it whole' is an awesome b-side from the single.... one of the few underestimated songs that I've come across in my life... I'd love to post it but I'm not tech savy... one day maybe

Vent were brilliant, their album stands out as Hunts best work to date in my humble opinion.. It would have been great if they had stuck around a bit longer and released some more stuff... A couple of singles and an album just doesn't seem enough!
The bass player was Morgan Nicholls from Senseless Things. He has since played with The Streets and is now part of Muse's live setup as additional bass player and keyboard player. To my knowledge, he's never played with The Cult.
Bill Duffy of The Cult played with Vent at some of their earlier shows (including the Reading Festival in 1995). Morgan Nicholls however never played with The Cult.
fcukin awesome !!!, would they have been successful if miles hadnt shaved off his hair? always remember reading festival and loads of girls in front of us commenting about it and walking off , how sad is that!!!
I remember reading an interview when the band split up the 1st time, was with Miles and the person who was interviewing was stoopid enough to ask "So, what's with the hair?", Miles' only response was "I don't do interviews about hair!" lol classic!

Tuuuuune. This rocks, HARD. A classic Steve Albini production, and a fine trio of musicians. Pete Howard's an AWESOME drummer.
