No lessons... it's just been a thing I have enjoyed doing since I was a kid. Portraits were never my thing though. I still consider myself a novice at that. I started doing them a couple years ago right here on YouTube, and have just gained some experience from making these videos. Before then, I always worked in abstract or industrial art.

Thanks. These are actually a lot smaller than the size people typically do, especially in charcoal. The typical size I do them in is 9"x12"
