hay i have a community tank and evry now and then i give them a lil bit of dog food the plec and neons go crazy for it u should try it with your tank

very cool set up. i like your rock shelf. i was surprised how well the easter island head fit in. normally i dont like anything unnatural looking in a tank, but it actually fits in very nicely.

Not in this tank. I have a large corner tank that has some rare plants in and use Co2 in that tank.

Lovley tank, nicely put together, the current looks a little strong for your little betta though coz they come from still rice paddies and very slow moving streams.

Guppys are lame i dont know why but i just think they look tacky, you should get some congo tetra or angel fish they best......o yes and why would you call yourself gingerfraggle have a bit more confidence :D

Guppies are ideal for this size tank wheras angel fish would be too large.

Theres nothing derogatory about the nickname gingerfraggle. I find it rather bizarre that someone should assume I have no confidence simply because of a pet name between husband and wife.

Thats a pretty cute set up. You have done a nice job of making it look deeper horizontally than your tank really is. Ive been trying for month's to get that effect. Any tips or tricks you could share with me?

ever tried sloping the gravel so its a couple of inches higher at the back makes em look mmiles deeper and add big plants and ornaments at bac and small at front gives illusion of size seems to work!!!lol

nice..... im gonna kind of immitate that "rock-resin" thingie u have... ^^ i think it makes the tank real nice without having to put any driftwoods.. =) whered u got it from? owh and the rock-like structure behind ur resin-made-rock, is it really rock? or u bought it as well? and ur tank looks superb!!how big issit? 5.5g i wud assume..

I got it from BAS aquarium in Bolton. All of its resin :o)

Thank you, your right about the bubbles. The filter has been changed as I wasnt happy with so many bubbles. The tank is much more peacful now and the guppies are breeding like aquatic rabbits!
