bad xbox eeprom

im having the exact same problem. got any further already?

it happened with mine when i flashed the eeprom.

it was a valid eeprom though

now i cant re-flash couse i cant get anything else done but load flashbios

can anybody tell me whats wrong with mine?? hers what happened, i was trying to play my xbox original but i was pressin the power button and it never started thne i pressed the eject and it started and now i can never shut it down unless i take out the cords.this is what im reall y pissed off about is that when i plug up the cords theres this wierd clicking sound.can anyone tell me what the problem is?? pm me

No, if they did that my xbox 1 and 360 would not work, and yes my 360 still plays live.

Maybe the hard drive password doesn't doesn't match the one in the eeprom.bin

Id say just un solder ur xecuter and use a softmod techneque and pop in the splinter cell and ftp on the screen and then update your eprom or just download slayers and burn to disk

oh and make sure you flash your eeprom with the 1.6 eeprom. thats the version xbox you specified in the details.

try to reflash your eeprom or get another eeprom and flash it with your chip or cofig magic 1.6.

I have had that sort of problem with an Xecuter 2 mod chip what you want to do in that menu is select "Lock HDD" turn it off and back on and... walla your xbox now works... or at least should do

ok look ive seen this before you set your drive as master on your computer wipe it out and upload your original eeprom...if tthat doesnt work update ur bios system

Hard mods are kind of pointless since you can flash your XBOX bios and run unsigned code, which is the same thing a mod chip does...and soft mods are great place to start with xbox mods...

i prefer hard mods! less trouble. if u play certain games with a softmod it can screw up everything.
