Thing is, when I hear that name Whip-Smart that sounds like a song that's going to really rock, but this song doesn't really rock so much. It's alright song, just not as rockin' as the title makes it seem.

RLW... Liz toured in 2009, the 15 year anniversary of the excellent Exile in Guyville record. Liz played it from start to finish... Had to be one he11 of a show. I saw her in about 1999 or 2000. Loved it.

Yup, you got the lyrics correct - for those who might not know "doouble dutch" is doing jumprope with two ropes at once. The song is also about a Mom's hopes for her son in general. Great tune.
