  • My only beef with Unions is the fact that a UAW worker can be caught operating machinery while high on crack, and lose there job for a week only to get it back with back pay. That is not what the Union is for!!

  • Nick, you pay your membership dues...the contractor pays your working dues on you behalf. Wonder why?

  • I'm in the same union as Ty and the facts are that it only cost me $1860.00 dollars per year. That's a pretty good deal if you ask me. In all actuallality I get all of that for free because if it wasn't for the union I would be making $70,000 LESS with fringe. If you don't want to pay your dues please stop immediatly. You don't pay my dues so why do you care if I do. Quit useing that excuse that the contractor pays them because you know that is a LIE.

  • Name Title Gross Salary Benifits & Other Compensation Total Compensation

    Terence M. O'Sullivan General President $428,150.00 $154,289.00 $582,439.00

    Armand E. Sabitoni Gen Secretary-Tresurer $411,441.00 $84,379.00 $495,820.00

    MICHAEL BEARSE GENERAL COUNSEL $320,330.00 $172,573.00 $492,903.00

  • Vert astute Jeff, that is exctly what the RTW bill in its current form does. Allows a choice.

  • then fine don't be in a union but don't expect to get the same compensation and benefits that the union gets you. Two tiered one for union and one for not. Go bargain your own contract with your employer. Go save your own butt when you get in trouble.

  • @teapartyty I’m showing Charles Edson as a manager- International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO Local 531 in La Porte Indiana. Is this correct and is it ongoing?

  • Just heard from a union leader this morning speaking, well shouting, about the bill and he had all of his talking points right but all of his facts wrong. This under medicated was showing signs of desperation of losing his $600,000 a year job (verified) and rightly so, union leadership has become top heavy and corrupted and their greed has destroyed what initially a needed service. They killed the Golden Goose and are afraid that their cush job of agitating is coming to a well deserved end

  • They took our JOBS ~ geniuses at South Park

  • The union leaders hate when facts get out about them, better to just keep the members angry and in the dark

  • @mjjesko Really? Are you a child?

  • looking fat ty try spending more time at the gym and less time busting unions asshole

  • @mjjesko Unions deserve to be exposed. Hoosiers deserve the freedom of choice. Dumbass.

  • I also confirmed, via the pre-mentioned link, the Disney Resort Destinations progress meeting on 08/17/2010 had total itemized transactions of $54,073. Scrolling through these LM-2 reports is rather disturbing knowing that union members are footing the bills.

  • @dharmon531 Please explain? I have confirmed, via the United States Department of Labor LM-2 reports, that International President Edwin D. Hill does in fact pull an annual salary of $316,908, while also laying claim to $52,600 in disbursements for official business and $12,084 in other disbursements for a grand total of $381,592.

  • Question 13: THERE WAS A DEFALCATION OF $26,126. THE DEFALACATION INVOLVED PERSONAL EXPENSES OF CHARLES EDSON, PAST BUSINESS MANAGER PAID USING UNION FUNDS. THIS AMOUNT IS REPORTED ON SCHEDULE 11, COLUMN (G). THE LOCAL HIRED AN ACCOUNTING FIRM TO ASSIST IN QUANTIFYING AND DOCUMENTING THE AMOUNT IF ITS LOSS. THE LOCAL HAS CONTACTED THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LOCAL LAW ENFORSEMENT AGENTS, AND HAS FILED A BOND CLAIM. THE LOCAL EXPECTS TO RECOVER THIS AMOUNT FROM CHARLES EDSON.

  • For Mr. Harmon, Mr, 90 grand a year himself.

    Dean Harmon

    President

    C $85,674 $0 $562 $0 $86,236

  • lies, lies, lies.
