Si yo tengo una TSX 79, pero como todo lo que hacen los genios en Argentina hicieron el mismo coche pero en vez de un v8 le pusieron un seis cilindros. Genios que somos los 100% Argentinos!!! Inventores del Torino. Somos unos Ladris!!
I've owned a lot of cars over the years but the one I really miss was my 3 speed column shift, flat-head straight six 1963 Rambler American. I got over 30 MPG when gas was dirt cheap. I could literally drive all day on a dollar.
Here in Argentina (South America) Kaiser industry setlled in Cordoba city produced this fantastic car under de name of Torino. For several years was produced and is beloved by argentine people. Search Kaiser Torino Argentina. There are a lot
THIS IS GAIL...SHE MODELS, AND PLAYS FOLK MUSIC...OH, AND DID I MENTION SHE IS A MEMBER OF THE WEATHER UNDERGROUND//?? THATS RIGHT, GAIL USES THE 65 RAMBLER AS AGETAWAY CAR AFTER A BOMBING...GOD BLESS 'ER
Th eold ramblers were available with disc brakes and a "twin stick" transmission that gave eight forward gears and two reverses. Advanced for its time. But when you could buy a big ugly chevy with a huge engine for less, well, the writing was on the wall.
I owned a 1965 Rambler and, seriously, it was the best car I've ever owned. The most fuel efficient American car ever built and it had a tiny, simple engine that even I learned to tune up and rebuild. When Americans go back to reviving this design, their car industry will rise from the ashes like the "Phoenix." (The Model T Ford)
@calabashalley - we still have a 1965 Rambler which is in all original condition. it's the one with the screens in the front windows when the windows are open. ppl are all over it when it's out. a beautiful tan. and i learned to drive on my sister's 1964 brand new rambler. oh, wern't those the days!
You mean those cylinders people roll their hair around then they spray it with hairspray? I saw some lady walking around in a store once with them in about 4 weeks ago. if thats what your talking about then i would say the older people use them

'65 was the best year for Rambler. That year a convertible body style was offered for all models!

@calabashalley The rambler American was the best car AMC ever built. Why did they replace it with the Gremlin? I don't know why.
