This video is a wonderful introduction to meditation. My wife and I use it morning and night to prepare for the day and unwind at the end of the day. Not only is the sitar music very relaxing but Jim's voice has a hypnotic quality!

The drone you hear is a tamboura. It's constant drone - which almost always accompanies the sitar - represents the underlying consciousness from which all creation springs.
