i honestly think that he needed people. he was surrounded by humans alot of his life, and when they released him he went looking for people. its sad, because he was so beautiful. but i generally think that he did need humans. :'(

what happened to Keiko how did it die

pnemonia within a few years of his release back into the ocean. Millions upon millions were spent to rescue him from his too hot and to little tank in Mexico. He was taken to Oregon and put in a new bigger tank where he spent several years getting stronger and being "taught" to fish. He was then taken to Iceland and kept in a pen in the ocean and eventually was able to "swim" away, though he still interacted with people in Norway.

your right xlollixpopx they shouldnt of freed him. he got raised up by humans and then they go shove him in the wild. keiko probally didnt know how to hunt for food. its like buying a parrot and then feeding it and training iit, then they decide to let the parrot go. i mean do you think the parrot would know how to survive in the wild on its own if it spend his life with humans feeding it and then got shoved back in the wild. i know they were trying to do the right thing. but it wasnt

No it wasn't right that they released him but he was taught how to hunt again and survive on his own. He did for quiet some time, the people tracking him didn't see him for weeks and he showed up again still healthy and strong. He was around pods of orcas and such, but I think they were just to late in general to release him. He was just a little bit to old captivity wise.
