i dont know if pj harvey fans tend to be pulp fans also, but i am, and whilst reading her wikipedia page i read "she had applied to study sculpture at Central Saint Martins College"... whilst the first line to "Common people" by pulp is "She studied sculpture at st martins college".... now, unless this college is famous for its sculpture courses and im just not aware of it... coinidence? i think not!

yeah i read it. it wasnt that long or subtle. i got your point. i just think it's a little far fetched. he says the girl was greek and her father "loaded". pj is not the only one who thought to apply to st martin's college. you are reading too much into a coincidence.
