  • Mj is the best!

  • I don't know how someone can say Marlon needs to sit down,if you really knew anything about real entertainment you wouldn't be saying that,Marlon got all the confirmation he needed from M.J. He knew how important Marlon was to the group.Nuff said!!

  • Wylie Draper, big brother I miss you so much. RIP! Watching this is like watching you dance all over again. I love you. Your lil sis. MJ RIP!!!

  • It seems like he moves around Bad era style and is looking lighter.

  • MJ was one cute dude!

  • dang man th illuminati can suck my meat but tha illuminati may have stoppped michael's life but they will neva stop tha music and soull of this man

  • THeres the six six six sign

  • @PDC2012 Never noticed that before!

  • @PDC2012 If you're referring to the lights, I think you're reaching. Don't read more into it than lights on a stage.

  • Marlon better get it!!!!!!!!! I like how him and Michael did that.. Good stuff!

  • i dont remember Michael telling schmuley that about marlon. And yes Marlon was an incredible dancer. yall dont have to put him down just because his name isnt michael.

  • Jackie missed the Victory Tour. He was nursing a broken leg. His wife ran it over at a drive-in theater right after she beat Paula Abduls ass for cheating with Jackie.

  • hahaha umm i guess nobody noticed at 2:54 mike says, cuz you broke my niggas heart. lol go head mike.

  • @apborreno "Cause you broke my BABYs heart"

  • @apborreno man i had to do a double take but he did say broke my niggas heart

  • marlon is a great dancer.

  • where is jackie?

  • Awesome!!!!!

  • Marlon CANNOT dance! He makes himself look ridiculous the way he jerks around trying to copy Michael. In the Rabbi Schmuley tapes Michael said he hated that Marlon would copy him on stage.

  • @cindys413 bull shit nigga

  • love that marlon jackson .he doesnt feel the music but becomes one with it!!

    "LOl" =8^D

  • They need to release ALL of his concerts on DVD. I can't watch him enough!!!! My absolute favorite part in this video is 1:25. I absolutely LOVE it. No one can do it like Mike. He is just awesome!!!

  • I think all the brothers are talented, but when Marlon stands next to Michael and mimics his moves, its like he's highlighting the fact that he's not as smooth as Michael. Marlon's contortions look kinda' painful whereas Mike's looks like a smooth and natural extension of the song.

  • I love Michael with his brothers and wish he had stayed with them. His great tatent shines through no matter who backed him. But his brothers added a layer of interest that no name back up dancers couldn't do.

  • GOD!! I missed Marlon's antics onstage!!!

    I MISSED THE J5!!!

I HATED seeing strangers doing the brother parts on the bad tour.

Especially when he'd try to replicate things, like that sexy dance scene at the end of "Don't Stop.." that belonged to Marlon. It worked with Marlon because we grew up with them and understood they are bro's tryin' to outdo one another. In the bad tour they added some strange dialog and it was w/a stranger which made it look o.O

I know Michael needed to go solo.

  • @8mycrab i never liked this song!

  • OMG RELEASE THIS ON DVD DAGGONE IT!!!!

  • The. Best. Concert. Ever.

  • Tito looks like Burger King. lol

  • marlon is on fire in this performance!!

  • I saw them live in Philly....Sept 1, 1984! They blew the roof off JFK Stadium. The crowd was LOUD...Mike was a genius...moving, twisting....Marlon was dancing and the crowd was screaming some for him also. Randy, Tito, Jermaine jammed on the instruments. THey don't make them like this anymore....RIP MIKE

  • @punches I couldn't have said it better than you. I saw them at RFK in Washington, DC and it still remains one of the highlights of my life. Thank you Mike...Thank you Mike. RIP.

  • @dillydally58 NO WAY! For him, it could be 777....if you want to know why message me saying so and I'll be more than happy to tell you.

  • michael is just so damn sexxxy!!! :-) :-)

  • i thought i was the only one that noticed that. marlon use to dance his ass off! its like he fed off michael energy. i truly do know if marlon would have kept on with his music career he could have been big like michael and janet.

  • @JustGod7 Thought I was the only one who noticed Marlon. I saw them at RFK in Washington, DC. My friends and I STILL talk about Marlon at this concert. RIP Mike.

  • 1:30 he gets so into it,i love him so much this is my all time fave mikey song

  • yes dvd please asap

  • Is this ever going to be put on DVD????

  • I wish they would!

  • @Srhandel to all michael's fans who's still crying and grieving about his death, he told u not worry about the things you can't controll! listen to enjoy yourself!

  • @Srhandel I wonder

  • heartbreak hotel!

michael and marlon are so energetic

  • Michael is an awesome dancer but Marlon be goin hard! xD

  • I'm sure that he remembered that strap that Poppa Joe use to put on him, back in the day!

  • True

  • it wasn't a competition between the brothers! Michael was just the frontman and totally shined!! they were all proud of him. not a matter of being "the best".

  • oh come on don't be afraid to say, lets be honest, Michael was far more talented than his brothers, and they must of been a tad jealous.

  • Hay gurl!

Did you go to this tour?

  • O Michael...

    I LOVE this song!!!

MJ and Marlon could go for twins but i think we all know who is the best

  • Bloody Oath

  • ???

  • Michael Jackson is the best! Out of all men. woo hoo!

  • Agreed!!! .....lol

  • 0:13-0:26 marlon looks like a model posing like that lol

  • 2:11 2:03 frust grab

  • 2:03-2:14 Yooo. lOl he be ripping tha move that =D

2:35-2:42 ii love wen he does that scream all the time =D

  • Yoo this video is madddd cutee(:

michael be killin tha "heeeeeee" all the time my baby

But marlon be snaping tryna dance all hard out shinn mike =P

  • 0:25-0:35 Epic moves.

  • I hate when Marlon dances like Michael

  • @iamtashafierce lol I know. It's like he's trying waay too hard...and he's not even half as good or natural as Mike. Like someone else said: Marlon, sit down and just stop!

  • I guess Marlon knew that this would be the last tour together so I guess he said, I am just going to show out. And he did

  • Where do I get a DVD of this?? This needs to be digitally remastered and re-released.

  • Does anyone know if Michael dyed his hair cole black like in the Bad tour? He always had dark hair, but on the Motown 25 Anniversary show, it still had a hint of brown...like here...on the Bad tour is was pitch black! I know his skin was lighter...but still, I look at it here, and it's not pitch black. Just asking....

  • I think since the pepsi commercial accident he had to wear a wig. Obviously it was similiar to his real hair just a lil longer. If you read the autopsy report it said that he was wearing a wig, and under it all he had was peachfuzz and a baldspot above his left ear, where he got burned the most

  • and yet he never gave up or gave or any less than great!!!!

  • You read the fake autopsy... the real one states he had a receding hair line but not 'peach fuzz' at all, he had quite a few tattoos on his head though to cover the part affected by the pepsi commercial accident.

  • I don't really see it... I haven't payed too much close attention to his hair but I assume he had black tattoos to cover up the part that was damaged in the pepsi commercial.

  • Also, on the last night of the tour in LA, Michael announced it was the last concert of the Jackson's...a farewell he said and said it's been a long 20 years. I'm sure the other brothers wasn't expecting that, or liked it very much, because, let's be real, Michael was that group from day one.

  • It's really sad...all the brothers couldn't compare to Michael, he just stood out so and rightly so and you just didn't want to take your eyes off of him. It's like the others were invisible. Sorry, just saying...

  • Marlon was annoying so was Randy, always trying to steal the spotlight and looking like idots doing it, i mean they were good but really people Marlon was doing to many moves up there when all you saying is Heartbreak hotel. Do your dance steps and act accordingly

  • You stole my words, LOL

  • lol

  • LOL! Michael has said that Marlon was the best dancer out of all of them! Think he was being modest??lol

  • hahaha thats pretty funny

  • Marlon was the Choreographer

  • I thought Marlon was cool and funny.

  • I will envy you till the day that I die??? $15...thats all....why!!!! lol

  • OMG@1:27 I never thought much of crotch grabbing, but he makes it soooo sexy!!!

  • yes finally someone that agrees with me.thank you.lol

  • i love it when they go "woohoo" after michael says "woohoo"

  • I love it better when MJ, Randy & Marlon throw their right arms up and out in unison with their hips before the chorus. I think I'll spark up some "Heartbreak Hotel" put on my old penny loafers and bust that move!

  • omg i know yall had 2 see the cratch grab

  • love this clip! wish I could get the audio!

    takes for the upload!

    we luv the jacksons!

    rest in peace, mj.

    ;)

  • So this was a part of the famous Jackson's Victory Tour. For that time period, 1984, the Jackson were ahead of their time concerning big organized concerts. Nowadays it's almost normal for a big star performer to perform in a huge stadium. Back then, it was unique and also then, Michael Jackson, along with his brothers, were trendsetters. Man, I didn't know Marlon was also a great dancer. Too bad his solo career wasn't successful as Michael and Janet. That would have been good dancevideos too.

  • Jackie wife had broke her leg and he was tending to her he did some dates on the tour!

  • Actually Jackie had knee surgery and was out of the tour until the LA dates. I've seen The Jackson in concert 4 times. But never all of them together. Now I never will...

  • where was jackie?

  • I have always thought Marlon was a fantastic dancer too!

  • They were at the top of their game with this song. This was the last time I really liked MJ. He was cute, he was energetic. Just the best overall.

  • Love this song one of my favs

  • Okay, I see some intervention is needed here. So, here we have it!

    From Wikipedia

Originally named "Heartbreak Hotel", "This Place Hotel" was a hit recording by The Jacksons when it was released in 1980.

  • That's right, the title of this song is, in fact, "This Place Hotel."

  • no its not its "heartbreak hotel"

  • Yall not gon be on here disrespecting Marlon...Yeah he does look funny in this video. but next to Mike, he was the best dancer in the j5...Yall beta do some research on here and look at some videos..

Long live the King of Pop!

  • R.I.P. Your music will always be remembered.

  • great quality!

  • at 0:57 he forgot his line but i think that the song is better with this little add

  • yupp

  • Comment removed

  • He didn't forget. The video is edited and didn't get the part after "...hope is dead." You can clearly see a sudden shift in the video. Watch Michael's position closely...

  • Marlon is killing me, lol. He's dead-azz serious with those dance moves! Git it, Marlon.....do it or leave it alone!!!!

  • marlon sucks

  • Comment removed

  • Gotta disagree with you guys on this one!! I think Marlon is a Great performer and underrated as well.

  • Comment removed

  • You're right and I'm sooooo wrong! I'm humbled, Marlon is awesome. :-)

  • Glad you realize your error and what every J5 fan has always known, that Marlon is a very good performer, has been ever since he was a kid!

  • Did mike mess up around :57? It sound like he was about to sing the rong vers and caught hiself, and the piano player backed up to cover for him.

  • yeah u no wat it did sound like mike did forget his lines. Some people actully forget there lines when there preforming.

  • This was an incredible show. Great shows were customary for these guys. Tickets were in such high demand for the Victory tour that you had to get them via a mail order lottery system. I was lucky enough to get a ticket. The show was amazing!

  • I never got to see them live and they did not bring this tour to the bay area.

  • the tour did go to l.a. tho

  • Do any one think sony will bring out the jackson on tour on DVD

  • is that Jermaine on bass

  • Yes that is Jermaine on bass. He's in the white sequin

jacket to the right of Michael. This was the Jermaine's first time back with his brothers in many years. Don King and Pepsi were promoters and sponsors respectively. At the time largest grossing concert in history.
