Nature is back! Check him out on "I Don't Make Believe" and soon to come "Stained Bladez" Nature, jojo P, DreadChild. Nature has resurfaced for 2011-2012 and will be killin tracks as usual
@MPCHustle Imagine if they would have kept Cormega in The Firm, still had Nature, dropped Foxy, left the Trackmasters out the equation and kept it simply L.E.S., Dr. Dre and Premo on the boards...That album would have been epic!
@oskamadison well, I do like L.E.S.s prodcution, :D...Cormega is cool with me, but My thing is all them were pretty. what happened that he wasn't included? wasn't he in Nas' album at one point with "the firm" that was a song...I remember that thinking"wow if they made a group that would be awesome" but then what the hell happened between them? I say if you're an artists, differences aside, just make the album bang out
@MPCHustle OK...The firm was startin' to pop off when Mega came home in '95, right? Steve Stoute (who was managin' Nas at the time) and Nas were the brains behind The Firm. Stoute tried to get Mega to sign a wack deal and Mega wasn't havin' it so he got replaced with Nature. The last thing you heard Mega on with them was the "Affirmative Action" remix. Nature got on a DJ Clue tape talkin' slick about Mega and Mega beat him down in QB. That's where the whole beef between him and Nas started.
Dude's flow was effortless and made simple everyday shit sound so ill. The beats he rhymed were sick. "..tattoo a dead man's name on my arm, that was a thug to the street but still afraid of his moms.." that's some real shit. The whole first verse is too sick. "For all seasons" is a personal classic.
queensbridge produces so many talented rappers, nature is really underrated much better than whole of dip set and most other rappers, wonder why he never went big?
Nature has always been one of the illest to grab the mic... just as lyrically inclined as the elite in Nas, Cormega, and AZ. Although, if it came down to Mega and Nature, I'd personally go with Mega. But I don't understand how Mega was uprooted from the Firm anyway... why not have the ill lyricism of both he and Nature?!?! Ultimately, Nature's a lyrical assassin... nuff said.
I think Nature was too seasoned to be with the firm. His flow, delivery, punchlines were in the same lane as Nas, and AZ. Politics in the industry separated them. Nature is sick i dont care what anyone say.
Just another reminder how real hip hop used to be,sitting on tha staircases smoking a L and sipping a forty, when elevators was piss infested. Maynot sound good but bring mr back to my childhood days when it's was real and fun,unlike...this bullshit laffy taffy music nowadays.
shout out to the uploader for uploading this classic!i was like 15 or 16 when this came out i lost my cd i wish i could find a way to order this cd again!this is REAL HIP-HOP!
even a white boy from a back yard town in maryland like myself can enjoy this, nature capture that big beat steady rythm new york style about as good as anyone in the game.
@Ninety2q i met a whiteboy from Maryland who knew the time also, word we was living in Florida at the time when i met him and he surprised me with what ke knew....word real heads be everywhere i guess word up
@Ninety2q even a white boy like me from across the world in Bulgaria can enjoy this. No matter black or white, yellow, green, purple no matter for talent - you have to be a man! It's my first song of Nature I heard today.... and loved it
naw, they did, trust me, my joints werent fake, it was a sweater with jeans and they had a matching black leather jacket, i got the idea when i seen it advertised in "the source" magazine, i couldnt afford the jacket, but
@poloreelrite i remember in th esummer of 2000, they had the white and yellow uptowns, and i copped the yellow iceberg shorts and matching shirts with speedy gonzalez
@lombardi1230 i remember that like it was yesterday they even had the speedy gonzalez sneakers to go with that i blew car money on icebergs on 145th & broadway those was the funn times....
@lombardi1230 Yea man i had the scooby doo beanie hat with the matching sweaters. Spent like $500 just to get fresh. Those were the days. Iceberg needs to come back to the states.
nature and cormega, ,most slept on...if u dont know bout mega check him out.i feel bad for the new generation of hip hop listeners.i never understood, why my parents bumped oldies all the time, now it makes sense, i dont wanna hear any of todays garbage, some of it is ok, but aint like this...this is classic, brings u back to a time in ur life.damn this is the shit...gotta luv it.1
