Agreed, this was the only version of this track I played on the CD single I bought in early '92. Great old school house/trance music. The b-side track called "Yes to Satan" or something was uber-crap though lol!
I need to find a club where its cool to be mid to late 30's, slighlty podgy and balding where I can feel the love until 8 in the morning, then have a spliff and a brew!!
Fuck you clubs of today where I'm old enough to be a dad to most of the people in there!!
@bobby2tokes After reading your post, i must ask where did the last 20 years go for some of us? This tune and Staxx-Joy, Orbital-Belfast, so great for an outdoor party. If you were part of the massive rave scene like I was, wow, what took place was amazing. i am from SF and its gone, just clubs now. I am going back to 1992-1995. An element crept in and took over. I guess I would feel awkward too to be in a club where all others are my age 20 years ago. Feels weird to even think of.
@gotahavehouse honestly Gaga isn't a very good example of the current taste anymore - Her newest stuff is mostly a re-hash of retro club sounds - not really "house" but very similar to the 80s Belgian techno sound or 90s eurodance stuff - which is probably why she it isn't charting so high anymore ....Katy Perry is more what you're thinking of.
saw these live at the pleasuredome in 91 an they had 2 goldfish swimmin in a bowl on 1 of the speakers if i remember correctly, mad times never to be forgotten, also this was the 1st ever cd i bought but cant beat tapes, wouldnt sell my rave tape collection for a million quid!!
I saw an episode of CSI where they said drugs can lay dormant in your system...fat deposits and such and get released later in life...I think some just flooded out when that piano started playing.
people dont search out this track enough it is a classic and is much missed now and agree with with mitanka it is the best mix and always will be respect
A tune I never would have believed was popular. However had friends and night outs come home and ask "what is this tune" Maybe the mellowside and highside of a tune..... It can be both it depends on the DJ ...........
Oh yes! This song makes me feel great! A real flashback to 1991! Has anyone seen the video to this? In the md to late 1990's it was always on MTV Two geezers with keyvboards, and and gorgeous female dancers in front! Respect fot this upload!
thank fucking christ ive found this. Ive been trying to find it for 17 years, and all i kept finding was that shit love decade 7´´ radio edit remix bollocks this was the one this was the tune. NORTH WEST ENGLAND 1991.
I know that feeling - It's so annoying. there's always that version of a certain song that is far superior to that watered down "one" that keeps showing up on CDs and websites and yet you spend like 10 + years looking for traces that it even exists...
I feel you!! Heard this on a DJ SY tape from 1992, never managed to work out what version this was, and it was always the Love Decade version which got played...You cant beat the piano on this, absolutely cant beat it.
If you want a copy of this version I have the original 12" of this version that i have converted to mp3 if you want it, great track. Send me your email and you can have it
"I KNOW" that this is a great tune!!!!old school is the best school!!!!
