  • Adam's rib? Really?

  • @paperorpaper Yes really. I don't get it.....do you simply not like my screen name or do you not understand what it means?

  • @AdamsRib84 Is that some kind of biblical reference?

  • your fro is cute.

  • what about real mayo? your hair is beautiful and its nice that you take care of it ...thats whats called good hair

  • VIDEO STARTS AT 0:50

  • I've tried the organic coconut shampoo, I'm currently not using it I switched to Shea moistures curl and shine.

  • getting dreads tomorrow and i just got that twists and loc gel at 6:00.. i think its the same thing. mine has a black cap though,

we'll see how it does in my hair, if its not good im throwing it away

  • "If I was crazy, I would eat this up.." Bahahahaha!!! You are hysterical and should have your own talk show or something someday:D <3 this-please keep making more. :D

  • I LOVE your reviews!!!! Thank you!!! :D

  • i.try.them.same.products.and,they.did.not.work.for.me

  • You're hilarious!

  • two thumbs up to your hair mayonnaise review...

it does make ur hair feel dry as your puttin it in ur hair...lol

i thought it was just me trippin'

  • How long do you use the product before you determine if they are or are not for you?

  • the coconut milk line is the BEST thing that has ever graced my head! it is sooo freaking nourishing AND moisturizing...my hair had never been so shiny and soft. actually it has been, the last time i went to the salon. it makes my hair look like i just got out of the salon

  • my hair is really thick and curly the coconut milk oil serum work well for me. without it my hair would look like crap so i have to use some sort of oil based serum

  • I agree with u on that hair mayo thought it was me lol. Did nothing for my hair cholesterol does nothing either. So- many have done ...zero.

  • hair mayo works real gud for me

  • your comment is soooooo funny, it started me laughing:)))))

  • I love videos like this. I'm on the fence about Hair Mayonnaise as well! Thanks so much for helping me save the cash Lol.

  • I also bought that hair mayonnaise and I thought it smelled like cheap men's cologne. It seemed to absorb all of my hair's moisture and take it completely away. It's terrible stuff. I don't understand it.

  • that gel gave her the soul glo hair, lol!!

  • what part of the

atl do you stay in? i need help with my hair! lol :(

  • I am learning that my hair doesn't like everything. It loves the simple stuff. I wish I would have known that before I spent so much money. :-D

  • I dont understand why you hate these products and i can either see the bottles is half way empty

  • @awashedupsterotype I never said I hated the products mam or sir. This is just a review of products that did not work for "me". Of course I used the products because I have to use them in order to determine if I like them or not. You cannot thoroughly reveiw a product if only used once. Also, please check out my "products I do like video and current regimen". Those products worked better for "my" hair. So please understand that this does not mean that it wont work for YOU it just didnt work 4 me

  • @AdamsRib84 I think it was good that you used the products. It means you gave gave a REAL review. P.S. Hair Maoniess (bad spelling) under the dryer is nice. I could not imagine using it outside of the dryer. But honestly, I mixed oils and other conditioners in it just so I could get rid of it. Once I was done with it, I melted coconut oil and poured it in there, then it turned back to butter. Great jar and that is about it hahaha

  • The few things that I've bought that are on your list don't work either! *runs to see your like video*

  • she said" as Natural as this it shole made my hair crunchy" omg when you see ur facial expressions then u said " it shole didn't control my breakage " if i was mad i would be anymore after watching this so over all I wanna say thank you

  • OMG I thought I was the only one. I HATE ors mayonaise too. it makes my hair greasy in a weird way and smells awfull

  • everytime I watch this I go back to the curls curling cream part because it always makes me crack up xD

  • @Itachi262 LOL! I still have it to this day! It just smells so freaking good!

  • Organics Hair Mayonnaise is BRILLIANT! I have been using it for 10 years, recommended by my mum and it does work! Its a little pricey for the size, but worth it as my hair is super soft and conditioned. I leave it on my head for an hour with (shower cap) then rinse out. Its brought out my natural curls, I LOVE IT! ;)

  • it didnt control my breakage it made it break lmao @ you

  • I love the ORS Hair Mayo, and the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition, lol! :) But like @CheekzBabe said; it must be the different hair textures, or what you're actually looking for in a product. Those two are staples, even though the ORS has sulfate; it works, so I don't mind. Nonetheless, it did brake my heart.

  • Make sure u use real shea butter...not the yellow or white..it should b off white. Everyones hair is different and u gotta use some products sparely, or just on the ends or scalp or once a week month etc. Just cuz u think shea is drying don't make it law. And u got an attitude...pray

  • @msjelly360 I'm confused? Was this comment for me or toward someone else?

  • Shea butter is heavy yet leaves my hair soft . I mixed it with coconut, and olive oil..melt it together...the bomb. Smoother texture a little greasy but when applied to wet hair..the next day-hair is so soft

  • bit negative

  • @Jeffnbilly The video???

  • @AdamsRib84 yep

  • @Jeffnbilly Oh ok. Well I beg to differ but I will take your opinion into consideration. Thanks for watching

  • @Jeffnbilly Well she did title the video : Products I DON'T like

  • @FromUTube2BigScreen I know thats just alot of products - on the NoRinse she said it works and cleans just not my faveourite so i dunno. Everyone has different types of hair thick thin etc.. so everything works differently on different ppl,

  • @Jeffnbilly Exactly! Different products do work differently on different people. You also need to consider that this video is fairly old and I was a newly natural. It is not unusual for newly naturals to purchase alot of products to see what works and does not work. I feel that you may have taken the video just a bit too seriously.

  • Organic root stimulator. I never use on scalp because it makes my hair dry, like some lipbalm do, and I need to use more and more. Some hair will be hard from (egg) proteins and is great for others. I´m blond with a fine Scandinavian hair and I can´t live without this stuff. I love it!

  • lol helmet head...

  • I find the organic root stimulator mayo makes my hair hard too if I use it after washing my hair. So instead I use it before I wash, and then follow up with a different deep conditioner and the combination of the protien (from the mayo) and the mositure (from the conditioner) does my hair WONDERS!!

  • lmao @ you sayin the herbal essence smells really good but you wont be using it again 2:30

  • The Pantene African American shampoo oils are at the bottom as well . I think I might be buying the Coconut Shampoo cos it benefits me without drying my hair out (no sulfates] , and there`s less ingredients . So why not consider it ?

  • @to2cute4u Well considering this vid was made almost a year ago, I have found shampoos that work great for me. I currently use liquid black soap as a clarifyer once a month for deep cleaning. I then use Jamaican black castor oil shampoo once a week as well as the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture retention Shampoo. Unfortunately I the Organix line just did nothing for my hair. Although it contained no sulfates, my hair still felt stripped. I'm glad it works for you though=)

  • The ORS hair mayonnaise worked wonders on my hair!!! but I guess it depends on ur hair type.

  • @CheekzBabe Ultimately I think it was the protein. SInce making this video, I've discovered that my hair hates protein and since then I've done a few videos explaining protein sensitivity and protein based products. You are probably one of the few that may thrive on protein which is awesome. I know that beautifulbrwnbabydol loves protein as well

  • coconut mlk doesnt work for me either, frutics was ok for me too ,and i agree its not a need product but its good, i use it everytime my man get it ,every once and a wow,i like the africa best oganics hair mayo its nice try that one instead

  • yeeeaaaa that herbal essence made my hair VERY DRY! I used it like twice n gave up nat good for me. now i use kinky curly come clean and knot today! I LOVE it!!!

  • shea butter is not a moisturizer

im so sick of these heifers saying that it is

that ish makes your hair dry as hell

  • @gdoeboi Do you mean the Cantu shea butter or the regular shea butter b/c my hair actually likes shea butter. It makes my hair dirty but nevertheless, it still likes it. But I do know many naturals who hate it. Why they got to be heifers though Lol!

  • @AdamsRib84 shea butter makes hair dry thats a fact

that ish is for elbows and knees

  • @AdamsRib84 im just playin but shea butter is for ashy elbows and knees; its not moisturizing to our hair and these heifers need to come on with the bs

  • @gdoeboi LMBOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • @gdoeboi I've personally never used shea butter on my hair... Some people say its a moisturizer for skin and a sealant for hair. I can't say for sure since I've never used it... But is all the negativity really necessary?

  • @gdoeboi i dont like it on my hair either. & when i ran water on my hair, it seemed water proof because of the shea butter.

  • @gdoeboi Wow. . . thank you!!! I thought I was BUGGING!!!

  • u have alot of products!!!!

  • @dehagurl Lol yeah I know right but I have calm down alot since this video. I gave most of the products away at product swap meetups

  • Thanks for the info concerning the Organic's deep cond, I went to the store Sunday and smelled it and it is not on my list anymore.

  • @rebarenee7 Lol! Sure no problem. Thx for watching.

  • So u basically can NEVER come over my house and sit on my couch with that Smooth n Shine, LOL!!!!

  • @SEXXXYTAURUS85 Not unless you mind having a big grease stain on your furniture LOL! I did end up using the rest of it for some twist outs but I wont be repurchasing

  • @SEXXXYTAURUS85 , well, if u use the whole jar on your head in one day it mite be greasy. smooth n shine is great for moisture, maybe people are just using too much... I think some people with natural 4c hair are trying their hardest to get that curly 4a hair they just wasnt born to have...

  • That Organics Hair Mayonnaise is horrible. It makes my stomach turn lol.

  • what's the most moisturizing conditioner you've used that is protein free since u said u have a conditioner that bets the granier triple

  • thank you for your honesty

  • girl u coulda sent me that tub of mayo, i need a new tub!!! Yea and that ORS lock twist gel, i bought it and didn't even touch it.....gave it right to my sis. BOOOOOOO CANTU, i cant' stand their products and it does smell fishy!!!

  • @domirae LOL! Girl I went to a product swap party and the ladies almost ran each other over trying to get the mayo and lock gel LMBO!

  • ORAGANIC TWIST GEL IS BEST FOR LOCS THATS WHAT I USED TO TWIST MY LOCS IF YOUR USING IT FOR REGULAR TWIST YOUR HAIR IS NOT GOING TO MOVE

  • @BxConCeiteDmuCh Ahhh...that makes sense=) But I also think it was more protein than my hair could handle too

  • you're funny !! :)

  • i don't use conditioner with stearyl alcohol in it. ganier, herbal essenses and other really commercial brands like that ALL have alcohol in it; relaxed hair responds great to it though. i found tht suave products have a few diff conditioers that i can choose from that are gentle ie. coconut, waterlily and aloe, etc.

  • @jalani00 I used Suave Daily Clarifiying Conditioner (Coconut) too! It is totally inexpensive enough to use every day and my hair stays so soft without a lot of buildup. I have 4a/4b hair that seems to only stay supple with a mixture of olive, coconut oil and conditioner

  • hey @ AdamsRib84 a lot of the products you have don't do much for people with natural hair its really made for people with relaxed hair its not made for natural thick coarse hair because those products have too much protein in them it drys the hair out I tried them all it works best on relaxed hair.

  • @mskoollaid You are definitely right. I wish I had known that info before purchasing but oh well=( Thanks for the comment love

  • My hair doesn't like hair mayonnaise too!!! But it's strange because when I was relaxed I used this product and my hair was in a pretty good shape. But now Im nappy and when I put this on my hair, they become as dry as straw!!! Maybe because I don't need protein. The replenishing conditioner by ORS is awesome

  • ors hair mayonaise is a great product. Something is wrong with your hair girl

  • @Brisil LOL! Girl maybe:) But actually my hair just really hates protein! So now, I cant use anything with protein in it but even before I discovered this, I didnt like ANY of ORS products. What can I say, all hair strands are not created equal=) Glad it works for you though!

  • @AdamsRib84: did you think about trying africa's best hair mayonnaise instead? works wonders on my hair.

  • Comment removed

  • U gone get high sniffing all those products! lol but thnx a lot for the video, this really will help me not to waste money on hair products!

  • @SavannahBroadmoor LMBO!!!!! Girl you probably right! I'm glad I could help sis=)

  • Hey I have a few questions.... I'm a new natural and Im still learning about good and bad products how do I know if my hair is protein sensitive or not? And how do I know if I'm using a good deep conditioner or not? I mean how should my hair feel after it dries? Because my hair feels really dry after I use the one I'm using now. but my hair is soft afterwards idk I know that everyones hair is different but the questions I'm asking should be on a general basis I hope.

  • @polarBEAR819 Check your inbox at you convenience. I tried to write you back here but the message was too long=)

  • @sermajewls What???? What is your problem? Im confused....there must be some misunderstanding. I didn't diss you. In fact, I have not "dissed" anyone since middle school. That would be very childish of me. I received an email stating that you subscribed to my channel...that is why I thanked you.I even noticed it on your channel. But I see that you obviously did not mean to. However, it does not hurt my feelings. I was just simply thanking you.....good grief

  • @sermajewls Lol! Ummm how is it me??? Every product is not bad for my hair it's just that not every product worked the same after going natural. My hair is EXTREMELY sensitive to proteins now after going natural and that's what many of these products contain. Everyone's hair is different. After w2 years of many trial and error sessions, I have finally found my staple products. I will be doing a video very soon on it so stay tuned. Btw, thx for subbing

  • I don't like the coconut milk shampoo either... i got it because it was sulphate free and so many other naturals like it, but I wasnt a fan. I didnt actually like the totally twisted or twist and lock gel either... we seem to have similar taste in products. :-)

  • @chokolatgurl Hey hair twin Lol! I will be doing an update product video soon. I think I may have my regimen down but Im still trying to find a staple leave-in. I will try kimmaytube's leave-in this weekend.

  • coconut milk shampoo is whack... Deep conditioner is good.

  • @tariis09 Lol! Totally agree:)

  • @AdamsRib84 , Yea Definitely!!! I don't like Totally twisted..it WON'T work for my natural hair. *smdh* I used Pantne mask deep conditioner or Giovanni deep conditioner but it is expensive...it is easy to gone if i often use it. ugh.

  • @tariis09 LOL! You know what.....I dont think anyone likes Totally Twisted anymore. I recently went to a product swap party here in ATL and I swear to you 5 other girls including myself was trying to give the totally twsited away. It was crazy. Everyone said it made their hair even more dry.

  • @AdamsRib84, oh yes!!! me too!! I was mad at Totally Twisted conditioner. I said myself, I wasted my damn money.. so well, we are still learning new everyday and we know what we make our mistakes. As long as we still take care of our hairs. Feel me, girl?

  • ITA about the fishy undertone with the cantu

  • @sunshower143 Lol I thought it was just me

  • You are so funny! You & your hair are gorgeous. Enjoying your vids.

  • the elasta qp breakage control serum is not that bad you just have to put it on w/ a conditioner because if you put it on alone it will tangle your hair because of the honey like consistency

  • @ImJussDatDeal Hey lady....sorry for responding so late. My inbox never showed your message. Anyways, I figured out why my hair hated the qp so much. PROTEIN!!! LOl girl my hair HATES protein. In fact, I just made a recent video on a DIY homemade protein deep conditioner. My hair breakage has DRAMATICALLY decreased. Crazy huh? Some ladies hair loves protein but mine is terrified of it=0

  • are you still selling those because Im just trying products to see what is right for me and and i would you these or make a good gel

  • @michaelbre4ever Well......actually I will be attending a product swap party next weekend and I just planned on giving some of them away. I Do you live in ATL?

  • @AdamsRib84 darn no i dont but thank you anyway

  • I know there are no 2 heads that are the same, but your hair seems very similar to mine. After 13 months of being natural, I still don't have staple products. I have tried many, many, many products, not the ones you don't like, but I have found others not to like. I have decided to just wear protective styling for the majority of the summer. Rocking self installed croctet braids right now.

  • @Nicsnaps Girl I totally understand! I will be doing an update video soon b/c all of a sudden my hair is starting not to like alot of these products now. Crazy huh!?! Im rocking Sasha (wig) right now too as a protective style! I have already noticed length and strength in my hair

  • try Aubrey Organic, I guarantee you the first product you held may have organic ingredients but it isn't all NATURAL, it has some sort of synthetic chemical. Or you can just make your own shampoo, EASY. No mayo and all that stuff.

If you try Aubrey's get the "dry" version, it's for black hair. I usually use Beauty 4 Ashes, but it's expensive, so in the interim I use Aubrey, not the best but a LOT better than the others on the market, you can get it online or @ Whole Foods

  • @psychmaj323 Ok thanks for your suggestion love. I was actually at whole foods the other day and contemplated getting the Aubrey Organics

  • majority of the product that didn't work for hair contain protein, so your hair may be protein sensitive. most proteins make my hair hard and any product that contains coconut oil makes my hair hard.

  • @prettybrowneyescutie You may be right but I did the Aphogee treatment not too long ago and it didn't seem to do any damage. IDK but I will be updating my product vids very soon. Alot has changed lol

  • I don't think you hair is weird. That hair mayonnaise stripped my hair bad. I make my own deep conditioner now and I don't use mayo in it because I've found that my hair doesn't like mayo at all.

  • @cholie81 LOL thanks cholie:) I still use mayo but I use the hair mayo by Africa's best. I have it in my hair right now as I type LOL!!!

  • You could give me that smoothe n shine lol i love that stuff and the twist n loc gel u probably applied too much of it

  • @Imisset2 Yeah you're probably right....Im really bad at measuring:) But I still prefer Cantu over Twist n Lock. For some reason I just dont want to get rid of the smooth n shine. It worked so well when my hair was short I just cant let it go LOL!!!

  • I definitely feel you on the ors hair mayonnaise. I used that when I was transitioning and then again when I was completely natural and my hair was as dry as the desert. Plus the smell was pretty funky.

  • @1woman You know what.....I just recently realized that ALL of ORS products make my hair dry. It's crazy!

  • I love the smooth n shine. I have not been doing wash n goes with it since my hair has gotten longer but I have been doing medium to chunky twist outs with it and braid outs with it for moisture in conjunction with eco styler gel for hold. Maybe you can use it up that way instead of going for a wash n go look. My natural sister in law uses it to slick her hair back in puffs in ponytails instead of using hard gel.

  • Yeah that's a great idea as far as the twistouts. I never that about it. I always just use either raw shea butter or Cantu shea butter. I will try it!Thanks for the tip hun:)

  • @kierone1 Lol yes you're probably right. I've just decided to stick to what works and that's the raw shea butter and the Cantu Shea . Thanks for your comment:)

  • I feel u on the Twist~N lock gel!! It hardly was drying, but it was just way too thick, and I need so muchof it to soak in my hair!! Kind of scary how I know how u feel when something smells soooo good. All I can say is nobody is lookin, do u, lol!!-)

  • LMBO!!! Wow!!! That's funny

  • My hair loves anything from Garnier Fructis. I can't get enough of the Triple Nutrition Conditioner.

  • Yeah you're right. It's actually not a bad conditioner at all...I just happen to find something better. I'll continue to use it until it's finished

  • I didn't like that hair mayo either. It was great when I was relaxed. Hated the the lock and twist. Captin Crunch all day! lol

  • LMBO!!! Glad to know it's not just me!
