The song certainly proves a point (and using a mobile phone while driving is illegal anyway), but would a man really be shaving using shaving foam and a wet-razor (0:37) and would a woman really have transformed from having straight hair to curly hair whilst only putting on her lipstick (1:08)? That's really exaggerating if you ask me!
@spraggers This was from years before that was illegal. It's trying to make a point to kids to tell their parents to stop doing these things if they do (e.g. "because the singing kettle says its dangerous"). Probably unlikely that someone would shave in the car but hey, it is for CHILDREN.

My granddad used to know Gary as he lived on the same street as my nan's cousin and they used to give him catalogues!!!! he gave me an autograph when i was younger too!!! but he moved away :( i'm nearly 18 now but i cannot believe i remember the singing kettle stuff! saying that, i probably didn't get a chance to forget cause i had my mum and nan singing all the songs to me up until...well,now! :L :P

I love The Singing Kettle and I am 21 and I still love them. I first started loveing them sence I was 3 or 4 years old. I love Cilla she is so pretty and she has an amazing singing voice , Arite is so cute and loverble, Gary is amazing and funny, Bonzo is so cute, Kevin is amazing, funny and so bubbly and Jane is so pretty and cool. I am missing her so much. I had this on video. I've met Gary when we did a singing club at a daytime centre in Hull. I love The Singing Kettle forever xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

WOW. I used to have a video of this. Singing Kettle rules. When my Aunty, Uncle and cousin used to live in Scotland we visted fife or Kingskettle one of the 2 can't remember. And Me and Emma had a few turns each on this Singing Kettle swing and it played songs and the theme tune to The Singing Kettle. It was so ace I went on it 10 times. Cilla rules she is so funny. Artie is cute, Gary is ace, Bonzo is so cute. And Kevin is so bubbly. Bring back Jane I miss her so much she is just to pretty.
I miss the singing kettle! lol. Think they should go back to the good old days of Cilla, Artie & Gary though. OMG, I remember their names and everything!

I love The Singing Kettle and I am 21 and I still love them. I first started loveing them sence I was 3 or 4 years old.
