  • they're awesome...

  • Brilliant!

  • So this music has "turned you on"? Because it has done the same to me.

  • good god what a set of lungs, great great great

  • I absolutely LUV this band...My sons turned me on to them about 7yrs ago and they've been a favorite of mine ever since.Great musicians all around! Luv you guys!

  • There is a direct link, Jimmy and Jeff were friends, Jimmy was also Jeffs guitar tech. Absolutely amazing technique Jimmy....I trained professionally for 6 years with your voice to guide me...Thx bro.

  • Long live Ours!!!!!!!!!!

No matter their level of fame - what matters is who they touch, and for that I'm blessed.

  • This is my favourite song, and I listen to epic power metal for the most part.

  • oh, and Jimmy was NEVER JB's guitar tech. He has stated this several times in interviews.

  • They were not "great friends". They only knew each other in passing. Jimmy wrote or dedicated a song to Jeff, like many artists who were influenced by him, but some, like pj harvey in particular, had never even met JB.

  • Jeff mentored him, that's the link

  • I don't really hear the link between Jeff Buckley and Ours.I looked him up on here.May he rest in peace...but I didn't care for his music.

  • Amazing! Always come back to this band just to listen and learn!

  • They were friends.

  • I actually liked the earlier version they'd had on their myspace, but it's gone now.

  • Gr8 Band!

  • Distorted Lullaby is one of the BEST albums ever.

Jimmy is one of the BEST singers, composers, song-writes ever.

  • @HeLLofNorTH it's funny...the band experienced next to zero success, and their second album was much more lauded by critics and it wasn't as good as distorted which was laughed at by critics...this album is the Hook of the of the music industry at that time. I think Jimmy should resurface as a solo artist and stylize more...his voice will always get hearts pumpin', but perhaps the formula was to straight forward melodic hard rock.

  • @HeLLofNorTH true but I have the feeling is not one of the most down-to-earth person...

  • Can anyone tell me whether there is a link between jeff buckley and this band? Why there are people talking about them at the same time? @_@

  • No direct link, however the lead singer is influenced heavily by Buckley..

  • cheers mate

  • jeff and jimmy were both coming up in the ny cafe/venues scene at about the same time and I'm pretty sure they knew each other than theres always the good ol rumor that jimmy was jeffs guitar tech which jimmy says is false iguees its all one sentence grammar police

  • I believe I saw a interview with Jimmy and he said they knew each other and it was

really hard on him when Jeff died. Am I wrong?

  • @HELLofNorTH Jimmy was Jeff's sound/guitar tech.

  • @dangerboymusic He was great friends with Jeff Buckley and many of his tunes on this record were written about him and his death. Especially this tune. it was written about Buckley.

  • @dangerboymusic

the singer was not only influenced by Jeff Buckley but they were also friends from what I understand.

Jeff went around and joined every band that would have him in NYC to really experience music and thus he knew just about everyone in the NYC band scene at the time. I heard about the band-a-thon that Jeff did from the singer he worked with in Murphy's Law....Jeff was a seriously cool cat!!!!!!

  • @HeLLofNorTH there is a slight link...they became friends right before Buckley's death. If you wiki Jimmy Gnecco there's a little background regarding the two

  • @HeLLofNorTH The lead singer of Ours use to be a guitar tech for Jeff Buckley.

  • @HeLLofNorTH Listen to any Jeff Buckley song and you will quickly find that he and Jimmy have very similar singing styles. There is your link.

  • @HeLLofNorTH definite link, jimmy was mentored by jeff

  • @HeLLofNorTH and i guess they were friends...before Jeff passed

  • @HeLLofNorTH Link = Both AMAZING artists! : )

  • @HeLLofNorTH Actually he did guitar tech/roadie work for him as well. Jeff and him were good buddies. OURS is one of the most underrated bands that are out now.

  • thank you so much wmooyeah for saying that and

productofmirto. . . .i just found out about these guys yesterday and im already in love with them :)

  • THANK YOU to Blue October for bringing Ours on tour with you as an opening band.

It's a shame great music like this does not get more recognition.

  • beautiul saw them in charlotte last night he played it

  • They stay hidden because the assholes that run the music industry want every band to sound alike and look alike. Great musicians like Jimmy Gnecco get brushed aside by the likes of Nickelback and the rest of that genera. It's pathetic.

  • where do u download this music?

  • Wicked band! Why is real music like this hiding?

  • Distorted Lullabies is perfect.

  • ^_^ thx for the upload!! I'm so happy, awesome~~ness

  • One of my. Faves

  • cool picture
