didnt kno cichlids attacked crayfish, i was thinkin of getting another one after i sold my last one because it kept killing and attacking my goldfish but i have a cichlid tank now

yeah, demasoni are little, but they dont care, they are so aggressive. I had 2 jack dempseys and the female was minding her own business and my demasoni owned the shit out of her and it died, 2 months later my male got owned by that mofo demasoni again and i didnt want it to die so i have it in a hospital tank. (might even give it back to the petshop) jack dempseys are sweet ass fish though

lol, is that crayfish still alive? I used to have a 6" convict with a big hump on it's head. I put in a big crayfish once and it got tackled by the convict and it's arms and legs all fell off. Then it became lunch.

i got a convict. it grew huge (bigger than yours) and it owned a Mpanga cichlid but it was a pretty fare fight. the mpanga had under his mouth shredded and the convict had his upper lip torn

i feed them TetraCichlid - Ciclids Sticks, atleast twice a day, and i have a 55 gal, but you dont need one that big, but..you can if you want;D

How large would the minimum tank have to be for a pair of convicts? I would like to get some in a 29G im going to get.

Very minimum size tank for a pair is 25 gallons. The bigger the better.
