While the thoughts and sentiments are there, and it's a beautiful song that manages make everyone cry when done professionally. When it's done by children singing off key, it's cute and I don't mistake this for patriatism. I heard the Lettermen sing this in Panama and we were all standing, clapping crying. Lee Greenwood still gets to me. But I can't appreciate ANY song where everyone sings off key. Sorry - my opinion as one who has grabbed a rifle for the USA.
