  • got a question i do heavyweights everyday now to gain muscle but... ive got an issue with my wrist it hurts when i put the weights down should i stop for maybe 2 days or just continue? cause i think its not as painful as earlier

  • It is true because as you increase the weight of lifting then your muscle grows to meet the endurance rate of that and as you get higher the muscle grow to meet that endurance and vice versa. You need to keep the same weight gor a little while until that weight seems easy.

  • Lifting heavy does not mean big muscles it means thick dense muscle and gaining more strength now if you want big muscles that are dependant of water then lift light lots of reps that's how you get big muscles but they won't be dense

  • Lui i have a very very important qestion that noone answers me . the qestion is- if i don't raise hevyer weight in my next training than previously is it means that my last training was unsuccessful? pls answer this qestion thank you.

  • @davidlude it isn't bad that he is flexing, where would you get an idea like that??? not hating or anything just wondering where you heard that from? You should check out my channel, cuz i upload free warm up, workout, stretching and ab routine videos! I also make video responses to questions that my subscribers ask me! • luimarco,

tu fais combien de reps par set et combien de sets que tu fais par exercices?

  • Do you do decline bench? I find it that it is much easier to do decline bench then standard flat or incline due to my body in nature. I have a more lanky body than otheres and i find it hard to put mass on my chest but starting decline I lift much more heavier then flat.

  • @xo1tom1ox i do decline indeed

  • @xo1tom1ox if you lift more doing decline that doesn't necessarily mean that you will gain more muscle. That just means you will increase your decline strength. Hit upper mid and lower to gain muscle overall. You should check out my channel, cuz i upload free warm up, workout, stretching and ab routine videos! • heloooo this i very nice information you have provided, i am now a stud my wife loves the big musles on my penis .

    -cheeers

  • How would you go about gaining weight on a purely vegan diet?

  • Hey Lui

What sort of weight/reps would I do if I didn't want to gain much mass and only get stronger?

  • @BigNothingXO to gain strength and not mass you need to make sure you are doing reps in the 15-20 range (toning range) and make sure you are eating small meals 5 to 6 times a day. You should check out my channel, cuz i upload free warm up, workout, stretching and ab routine videos! I also make video responses to questions that my subscribers ask me! • law of progressive overload.

  • sub me back please

  • Hey Lui - I like your video I just found you.

Could you please discuss how much muscle could be gained in 7 months of devoted training? i made a bet with my Dad ( I am 34 mind you) I would gain 7 kilos in 7 months. Is this possible even if it contains bulk phase body fat I dont mind.

  • Hey Lui,

Can you talk about the optimum rep range, number of sets and duration of rest time.. when we are trying to gain mass...

    Thanks a whole lot :)

  • @Athrun000 when you are trying to gain mass you want to do about 8-10 reps and about 3 to 4 sets per exercise because mass gaining is more about what you eat not how much weight you put up. Rest for 1-4 mins You should check out my channel, cuz i upload free warm up, workout, stretching and ab routine videos! I also make video responses to questions that my subscribers ask me! All i ask is that you please sub if you like my channel and please share with friends. Have a good one :)

  • Luimarco I am interested in knowing how many pull-ups can you do - since you never train them. Please test?

  • 8-12 reps

When I hit 12 with good form on an exercise, I move up weight so I can do at least 8 with good form.

That varies a bit depending on the exercise, but is my general rule.

  • Lui, serious question, I'm almost 16 now, about 5'7, does lifting stunt my growth? serious, I'm starting to go above my bodyweight on some exercises now.

  • Lui, If i want mass, how many reps should I do? On your mass gain plan, alot of your sets say 4 - 5 reps each. Ive heard that low reps wont give me mass? Is that false?

  • heheh .. today , i did lift 90 lbs flat bench press.. 8 reps per set .. its heavy man. this is my 4th week..

  • @switch0123

Don't worry about it, I started as a skinny fat ecto so lifted no weight at all and still don't lift too big now because I don't have the weight behind me like mesos and endos.

For me it is aesthetics > big numbers.

  • @GenTFBRo u can do it after but not before.

  • @luimarco yo man just watched you at the car show. what bmw do you have? M5? haha peace i have a nissan 350z. alot cheaper then a bmw but i will upgrade sometime! last vehicle i had was a 86 ford ranger rusted to the bone

  • @luimarco

What's wrong with 10 minutes light cardio for a warmup before the weight training>?

  • @SinisterSkip nothing wrong but not mandatory, why would u do it.

  • @luimarco

I personally do 5mins light cardio as simple whole-body warmup. Get the blood going

  • @GenTFBRo u can do it after but not before.

  • @luimarco

    why not befor lui?

  • Lui, please do a video on bodybuilding for older dudes. thanks.

  • lui, you recomend 6 reps in this video but your bass plan says to do 5 reps for all the exercises?

  • THATS THE WAY I ROLL!!!

  • Hey Lui

I have a two part question for you. I recently completed a cutting phase and lost around 22 pounds of fat. My BF% is under now under 10%. I want to start building some new muscle. Should i eat carbs after 5 when bulking or should i still avoid it? What is the ideal BF% to have while trying to build muscle?

Cheers Lui i salute you HAHA

  • lui can u please make a video regarding water intake

does it make you lose weight

I am confused i heard it will flush out toxin and that can help you lose fat

please everyone give me a thumbs up

  • @1:20 i thougth he was gonna say "you might snap some shit up"

  • heavy weights help get bigger muscles but what role does intensity have with more reps in regard to putting more muscle mass, would lighter weights with more intensity still have the same effect?

  • bigger mass, but he doesn't say bigger muscles...

  • strength is correlated with mass; gotta love the deadlift

  • How about a video talking about/ showing the difference between natural bodybuilders and suspected ;) chemically assisted bodybuilders. About their physical differences and what is and is not possible without assistance.

  • Luii can you do a video explainin what you talk of in this video, focusing on the muscle you want to train?

  • lui your really starting to lose the " day lee" intro....bring it back!!!!!

  • Luiiiiii

  • Lui I never would have guessed you were gonna say yes to this as you always say how you do medium rep range and don't go that heavy, but I totally agree. Heavy stuff is best for big slabs of new muscle as long as you are actually doing the movement. I used to do rows with too heavy a weight and it would be so much pressure on my upper traps and just my arms pulling which didn't do shit. I slowed it all down and use heavy for that speed and been getting great results

  • game recognize game baby

  • heavy weights + ENOUGH WORK = big muscles

BUT TO BE BIG OR STRONG YOU DO NOT NEED HEAVY WEIGHTS SOO MUCH!!!......

for example Tennis develops Greeeat Force in The Forearms......is true that especially 1 arm,but with enough work you can maintain the ballance of power between both parts of the body

  • I agree with lui 100%. The more you stress the muscle the more it has to adapt to that stress your putting the muscle under the more it will grow to be able to lift the weight.

  • SO`What aBOUT bIcEP and TrICePs A PErSON DOINg tHe ExCErCISes FOr IT ANd CaNNOT gEt RIPPed thERe

  • do you go up in weight or down when you do sets?

  • Thanks Lui..

  • can you please talk about , decline vs. incline bench press, also about ratio of flat to incline to decline

    thumbs up guyss !!

  • @abhioffadd

yes please i need to know this to, thumbs up guys!!!

  • Lui please do some full workut vids displaying your routine and form. do one for each of your splits?

  • @barryn eat more carbs and lower fat, don't take more than 40g of fat, and healthy fats.....do not take fast carbs take just slow carbs

  • lui u still havnt answers my question on what you think about brock lesnar vs alistar overeem

  • thank you for answering !

  • i did THEM ROWS today, first time ever..it was ok, but i have to improve my technique.:)

  • hey guys I'm around 12 % body fat and trying to get below 10 and finding it hard, I'm trying to keep my carbs around 100, my fats are usually around 80 and protein is about 160, but I'm finding it hard to reach my daily calorie intake 2100, what foods would help me reach this on low carb days?

im 150 pounds and i am 17, i already eat a lot of nuts, tuna, eggs...

    any ideas guys?

  • @barryn94 eat a diet higher in fat . i used 40% fat, 30% carbs, 30% protein. it helped me lose 4 pounds in a week for a boxing competition.

  • @barryn94 to me it sonuds like your taking in to many carbs still try like 50 carbs a day

  • dude wtf, i dunno if im dump or something, but i cant find ur massplan :D

  • hey lui i noticed that on your mass plan u suggest 4-5 reps in most of the exercises..so in order to gain mass we should do that with heavy weights?

  • @alexgamias not all exercises. in all secure exercises that you can control 100% in slow pace. and usually i don't suggest staying with such a low rep range for more than 3 months.

  • @luimarco 4-5 reps should be used on primary compund exercise right?

  • @luimarco then why in this video do you talk about going above 6 reps limit?you mean after the 3 months?

  • show us how you bench in a video

  • @iluvme67 i never bench press. i do decline, i have videos about it.

  • @luimarco how comes you find the decline more superior as oppose to flat and incline? many people suggest incline if only one was available. cheers luii!!!

  • @iluvme67 i never bench press

  • @luimarco why never bench? what are you doing instead?:)

  • Comment removed

  • @luimarco why no bench press

  • @luimarco What do you do for your chest then. Cause im looking for alternatives

  • @iluvme67 He uses dumbbells bro!

  • i got stuck under the bar once when trying to max out with my highest weight. not pleasant

  • @CIarKent me too

  • @CIarKent lol sight to be seen

  • @luimarco Lui, do you know about sarcoplasmic and myofibillar hypertrophy? If not, you should read about it, basically heavy weights and low reps builds strenght but not muscle and vice versa. You should definately check it out if you haven't read about it.

  • @CIarKent Spotter?

  • @callumslim94 only after that incident i realized the importance of having a spotter

  • Hey Lui. Can you make a video on how to regain strenght after not working out for 4 months? I have worked for 7 months and then I quited for 4 months. How can i regain and how long do you think it will take to regian the strenght and power I had before? I used to lift like 16-17 kg on biceps before but now I can barely lift 13-14 kg... Please I need help.

  • True. Heavy weights. What every your max is 4-6 reps, it will put muscle on you.

Lui, WHENS THE EXCERCISE VIDS COMING?

  • @drummking15 next week hopefully mate

  • @luimarco Nice! :D

  • @luimarco lui i thought you bench press?

  • @musclectavio17 He does incline and decline. not flat.

  • @musclectavio17 nop i don't, not flat bench

  • you may snap some shit up!!

  • n lui btw on ur last vid my comment was at top so will u make a vid???

  • @AdR1aN43 for ectomorph you should use my mass plan, hence i am my self an ectomorph.

  • so lui im an ecto n want to know specifically what should be my rep range n should i go to failure????

  • hey lui what can you do to build more strength? i dont really care about scuplting my muscles much, what im mostly aiming for is strength.

  • @RattleheadAnthony he has a vid on this but simply heavy weight low reps

  • @AdR1aN43 oh ok thnx

  • awesome vid :) just a question - how counterproductive is sweating while lifting weights? please thumb this up so lui can see

  • @DrWerdna69 it should'nt affect your performance my friend

  • hey lui ur 4month killer body workout im going to follow it after my bulk, just question on the diet is it formed to preserve muscle, cuz dont u need a specific amount of calories from good foods obv, to keep ur body from going into starvation mode, if i go on the plan and the diet and eat all the foods u tell me too and my calories are to low for what i need to maintain muscle mass will i lose it on ur program, im confused.

  • "everyone wants to be a bodybuilder but nobody wants to lift no heavy ass weights" ;)
