  • Just me and my personal taste in such, but I'd add echo and reverb a tad bit, + a girl to do harmony.

  • @a1930ford

In their beginnings, reverb and echo were used on sound recordings to *simulate* a live performance. We don't feel the need, when playing live, to now try to simulate a recording. We'd rather it be live and raw, letting the room dictate the reverb. I realize that outdoors, you don't get as much reflection, but we are plenty used to it and like it. I'll also have Steve see if he can find a female drummer that can do those backups for his duo gigs! :)

  • @PeterVred BINGO! That is the entire concept behind dipolar open baffle systems. Shows you how close Bose was if not on the ball with his 2201s/901s back in the day. OBs are sexy too but Bose gives really good sound out of the box with ease and customer service/support ;).
