Your an idiot....smack the truck into gear? That's the same as neutral dropping. You must pre load while staging, shocking the drivetrain by "smacking it into gear" will destroy everything. Wow just when I thought I heard it all.

If you gear launch, you can destroy the differentials, transmission, transfercase to name some.

Back in 1998, the 5.9L V8 made the Grand Cherokee the quickest SUV in the world. Awesome how the ass end just sat down and the whole truck twisted when it launched. Killer Jeep man...nothing like a 5.9

The Jeep switches traction around to all the wheels so it doesnt slip and sometimes it goes to one side, I'm buying one of these this next weekend :-)

thats not why all cars squat on there right rear tire. Its the direction the motor turns thats why fwd cars dont cause there motor wants to spin front or backwards. Jeeps are so noticable cause they dont have a frame. Its unibody

man im loving all thease videos about jeeps ! its making my expectations rize . i got a 99 jeep grand cherokee limited all i added was a magnaflow muffler and a K&N cold air filter what more do you suggest i do to get a better faster louder vehicle

@WICKEDONE445 Intake manifold, exhaust headers... depending on the size of your engine perhaps remove the muffler and put in a high flow cat or two... get a tuned ECU or a tuner... those are all of the cheapest options, otherwise you'll want to put a turbo or supercharger on it.. Honestly the 99 is crap because it comes with a maximum of a 4.7 "High Output" motor, which is alright in itself but lacks the capacity of other engines for upgrades... or rather the upgrades aren't really worth it.

Well i heared the 4.7ho cant be upgradedm uch because from the factor it was maxed out already. The HO only came optional in the 02-04 , the 99-01 had the normal 4.7,

Shouldv'e looked closer at the vid so i didn't post twice.. looking at the timeslip it looks dead-on like the kind of times I cranked out around sept. 06 in my turbo shadow. I do believe I raced against you at least once. Damn cool! I remember just looking stupefied at that jeep pulling violently on me...

Yes I have been a 7.03 blower only w/pump gas and a 6.86 with a 75 shot of N2O. still dialing in the tune-up, its Lots of fun and very easy to drive which is what it's all about.

Great QwikZJ !! I have a ZJ With transplanted 5.9L and another mods and 75 shots, but I use it on Sand Dunes, but I run sometimes for fun on Drag Track but my better times are lower 8's.. What Tires are you running?? I'm using BF Goodrich 30x9.50R15 All Terrain KO :-( I want a blower !!! :-) What kind of setup do you suggest?
