If there is any truth anything he is saying. I can understand through educated hypothesis how his "Christian" home helped shape his behavior and thought processes. Basically you can see that this guy was preparing his fairy tale for quite some time and this was his moment to shine, and he did pretty good.
I don't think he's blaming the pornography at all. He verbally expresses full responsibility several times in this interview. He was asked where these thoughts came from and these feelings fostered themselves and he answered that question. I don't see any reason to think he's being manipulative, and even if he is lying, the message he is leaving (the potential harm of pornography and severe mental disorders) is still clear and important.
The fascination with Ted Bundy, in my opinion, comes overwhelmingly from his appearance. I know he is obviously reasonably intelligent, well spoken, and very articulate. However, I believe the public's endless attraction to him comes from their complete inability to be able to picture someone who looks like that commiting such heinous crimes. If Ted was an overweight, unattractive, man I doubt his extensive vocabulary and demeanour would hold many people's attention.

We don't have to like the guy- we can still hate him. But we should try to understand how the heck normal people become monsters and then be aware of it.
Maybe society now offers enough outlets so those with sick aspects of their personality?
I don't know but it's worth it to think about what we hear before we dismiss it.

I don't think he's blaming the pornography at all. He verbally expresses full responsibility several times in this interview. He was asked where these thoughts came from and these feelings fostered themselves and he answered that question. I don't see any reason to think he's being manipulative, and even if he is lying, the message he is leaving (the potential harm of pornography and severe mental disorders) is still clear and important.

The fascination with Ted Bundy, in my opinion, comes overwhelmingly from his appearance. I know he is obviously reasonably intelligent, well spoken, and very articulate. However, I believe the public's endless attraction to him comes from their complete inability to be able to picture someone who looks like that commiting such heinous crimes. If Ted was an overweight, unattractive, man I doubt his extensive vocabulary and demeanour would hold many people's attention.

After he escaped he killed who knows how many times after that. He never really admitted how many he killed.
