Hmmm...self interest! I am glad, hindi kita sinuportahan! It is ok for you to say to take responsibility because you have lots of money and only two children.
Where are the unwanted children? There are no babies to adopt, they are all being aborted. Where are you getting your statistics from, the UN? The UN is evil.
It's Normal to church nga mo against ani nga bill kasi kakunti nalang ang tao soon...

Hay gibo buti nlang hindi ka naging presidente! our population is getting bigger because of rising water in manila bay? Hahahahaha! Natawa ko dun ha :D
Govt needs to focus on the real issues of poverty...they need to improve on our educational system, give better pay to teachers, build more farm to market roads, pour more funds into the agricultural sector, etc.
Causes of poverty are: corruption, poor governance.
The RH Bill is just another excuse for generating corruption.. We already have enough as it is. RH Bill for SEX Education? Solution to poverty? Bah! Humbug.
Parents, the 1st teachers of sexual morality to the children, won't have to go away(OFWs) if the government could provide what all families need. It's why the government was created in the first place: to address the needs of all people.. education, health, jobs.. fundamental rights. We don't need the RH Bill. We need good leaders.
Alam ko kasi nursing student ako na exposed to the poorest community in the westeren visayas. How to control population? OK, morality aside.. Let's promote the use of contraceptives. As you said, corruption is everywhere, di ba?
hindi condom ang sagot sa kumakalam na sikmura.. 3 billion imagine that.. sino ang yayaman? that's right! big pharma and corrupt politicians.. tuloy pa rin ang paghihirap..! this bill is anti-poor!
it is not the gov'ts job to promote one or the other family planning method. They will be wasting taxpayers' money if they pass this bill. Approx 5-9billion worth.
Health concerns, especially woman's and couple's right to choose is not a moral issue.. the government should make available all choices for improving the health and security of the country which is guaranteed by the Philippine Constitution.
When the right to choose involves human life, it always has moral implications. it is not simply choosing what clothes to wear!! Open your mind. The Philippine Constitution is against the culture of death. We must protect and defend human life... and promote Christian values.
@talakitok1000 Promote Christian values? I'm sorry but since when did the Philippines become a theocracy exactly? Ever heard of Muslim pinoys? Buddhist pinoys? Non-believer pinoys? We're already suffering from your Christian values. If the church hasn't meddled in politics, we could've been progressing more instead of worrying about superstitious non-sense. It's unbelievable how they could be so against something that's trying to solve one of the country's biggest problems: overpopulation.
i would like to clarify though if Gibo will allow the government to spend on contraceptives if it turns out that the majority seems to be asking for it.
remember that in spite of the citizens' pressure, the leader may also have to make a personal moral choice. it's because the morality of a choice does not depend on the number of votes for or against it. would a sane leader fund the shabu industry if the majority of the citizens became addicted and clamored for it? the moral choice is NO.
I commend Gibo for recognizing that supporting or funding contraceptives is indeed a choice that concerns morality. this is something some of the other candidates have overlooked, probably based on their personal biases.
as a citizen, parent, a children it should start to us be responsible enough to start a family. as to the young for them to be aware on RH it should be learned from their respective lyceums
@uzizero007 : Filipinos have a high level of respect for their parents. But unfortunately, that has not stopped over reproduction, thus overpopulation. There needs to be a strong initiative and active support from the government. "Taking the responsibilities to ourselves" is like saying bahala na kayo...
So who do you want to lead the initiative against overpopulation sir? the private sector? the church? as you are implying? dream ahead. The magnitude of the problem can only be handled by an institution as influential as the government. To whoever made this video, sorry but that was not a very intelligent response by your candidate. It was a response by someone who doesn't even trust the institution he is currently in...
