I don't think so. What did HE lose by leaving? Not much. He has money, and now he gets to do music in a way that is more enjoyable to him, do things his way. It's a shame for many of us fans who would have rather he stayed, but I don't think that making the move and move on since he wasn't enjoying being a part of DM anymore makes him a fool, and I don't think he ever regretted his decision. Sad for us, but good for him.
